If you guys want to get technical, the first tournament in the history of this website/community was BEYBLADE'S NOT DEAD! at AN08. That was before Beywiki was relaunched as the WBO, though.

Hi i was wondering two things about tournaments.
Can you charge a lower entry fee less then $5? Like mabey $3?
Does the WBO give prizes for the tournament? If not, would anyone be willing to donate some?
The hosts provide prizes, and $5 is a reasonable price...
I'll try to get a hold of him and ask. He said tho, that he wasn't on it that much, and once he saw me on the WBO he was surprised to see a new beyblade website. He said he might join soon.

Unfortunately, no we can't. It wouldn't be fair to the rest of the world which has not had many problems with the fees.
Yes! We provide reimbursement for prizes based on the amount of participants in each tournament.

I'll definitely try to. He lives in Buffalo, New York now, so it'll be a bit hard to get him to one of the tournaments in Toronto, but next time he visits, I'll try to persuade him to come

It is most likely due to the number of characters in the title of the topic you were posting, not how many characters were in your own reply. When "RE: " gets added to a thread title, it adds four characters, so if the actual title is already quite long, that addition pushes it over the limit obviously.

Yes, unfortunately there is a reason HTML is not allowed in signatures. Imagine if everyone had videos in their signatures : pages just would not load, some computers would crash ...

Those are simply .gif, animated pictures. It works the same way as putting an unmoving image in your signature.
I have a question. There is going to be an upcoming Toys R' Us Tournament on Saturday, and I forgot to get WBO promotional cards from Kei, and so I was wondering, could I make my own WBO promotional cards just for this event?

The WBO promotion cards are just a more cooler and professional way of promoting the WBO. You could possibly make slips of paper with the URL to the site. And of course, simply by word of mouth ... "Hey, search up the World Beyblade Organization on Google and sign up".
Anyway that allows the person to remember, I guess (´･_･`)
