Maybe it's because attack types are not as effective because Metal on Plastic does not create recoil like Metal on Metal.
wrong. my phantom fox ms splits when i lauch it and causes huge recoil. it goes about half a metre away from the stadium on the first contact.

i battled my Dragoon GT [ Uncustomized ] with Lightning L-Drago 100 RF [ Customized ]
& Out of 6 matches
Lightning L-Drago won
Round 1 by OS , Round 6 by KO
Dragoot GT Won
Round 2,3,4 by KO
Round 5 was a tie
Overall Winner - Dragoon GT 3 - 2 LLD 100 RF
i observed Dragoon GT Had it's engine gears speed + a bit more smash & maybe a bit more weight
Both beyblades were launched by Banking method
but my Dragoon GT's bottom is a bit worn out so it performs defensively after doing a few attacks & yes my RF is moderately warn out not to much though

The main reason i think plastics are better is because the mass and the mass distribution was independent from the shape of the attack ring so there were more varibles to change the way the beyblade performed. With MFB, the wheel is the heaviest part. Heavier parts equal longer spin time in general and better defense so people want to use them. But by doing this you have less choice of wheel shapes.

Attackers are actually a dominate force in the game as well. Because of the weight, it has more of a driving force to knock an opponent out. I've seen more KO's with MFBs than I have with plastics.

Since Escolpio sucks that would prove nothing. Test it against top tier defence and see how it does.

I'm sorry what? Upper fox sucks. Also if I was coming to the legend of the bey I would bring but i'm not so I can't. Can't see that performing well against MF-H Libra GB145RS at all if i'm being honest.

You don't need samurai upper. Dems' AR is just as good if you've got that. I'm sure there are better attack rings apart from those two that are better than Upper Fox.
