did anyone try to mix sams in other decks? I still havent tried x-samurais... but once i tried junk sams with some plants and it kinda worked ( I said KINDA). the only problem is that its too slow... anyways this deck makes gachi pretty easily (kagemusha and quillebolt, quillebolt and doppel and else) and gachi makes shein stronger since he is kinda weak....

YCS Seattle should be an awesome YCS for the competitors.
Atlantean Mermails should have a good showing, judging from the OCG, which shouldn't be judged from lol (See Inzektors and Gadgets), and it's kind of the opposite for Prophecy, as they have a sort of mediocre showing in the OCG but are expected to be at least Tier 2.
Can't wait to see how it goes in Seattle :3

Oh I see, I play Wind-ups in rl but I feel no need to use a dog or a juggler, if you want to get rid of an opponent's monster just make an adreus an use it's effect to destroy it.
I don't play dog because I can easily make a rank 5 xyz with shark.
But I don't make them that often, I mainly go for the OTK using the Magician-Shark combo.

I use Magician-Shark combo and dog can come in handy if i want to pull Zencarrier out.

Honestly, i am very excited for this format, as Lumina is back to three, and also Kalut is back at three aswell. Surprisingly enough, we have our first banned exceed, and it happens to hurt windups. P.S. The deck is dead....
Also, Sangan banned too! well, that ruined the day for me.

On a happy note, if you havent learned, the next two sets are to be released aswell.

Firstly, Lord of Tachyon Galaxy contains new fire fist support and a completely new archtype, Burning Knucklers. We will be seeing some Atlantian, prophecy, and madolche support aswell. And maybe, a new torrential card! Some other notable cards are the new galaxy tachyon dragon, harpie mirage dragon, Windrose, and Gagaga Wind.

and for the last news is the set coming out in april 2013 for the OCG is Judgment of the Light.

Judgment of the light was said to have new synchros and they are supposed to be "The most powerful the game has seen" Anyhow, no card list has been made yet, but I can assume new Lightrays. Also, the next number card is mentioned "Number 39: Utopia Ray Victory"

Also, the newest Starter deck is to be released, however, i have no like, actual things to say about it.

So that wraps up pretty much what is going on for the next few months

Anyhow, Judgment of the light pretty much makes me scream Lightsworn (Very unlikely) However, I believe Konami is hinting Lightsworn Support because Lumina is back to 3. But meh, Atleast i can replace sangan with Lumina. I also noticed that lavals and Lightsworns could be a great mix, with Laval Blaster as a miller. So... Synchro and JD anyone? Another archtype that interests me is the hunder archtype, with it's like.. Swarming abilities, Haha.

I have quit a while ago, but this banlist is great for the format (as I know it at least) Mermails are still going to be prevalent though. (Kind of makes me want to join back just so I can play lightsworn again.)

If you meant in the anime, nobody actually has it as a card - the Pharaoh fused the 3 Egyptian god cards into it while he was in the world of memories-he never used it in the present yugioh time.

I just thought about this and wanted to bring it up, but what does everyone prefer using more: Breakthrough Skill, Effect Veiler or Fiendish Chain. I've been debating which to choose and which ones normally work better and I wanted some other peoples intakes on this.

Effect Veiler, less risk because you dont have to set it, but I would also side in Fiendish.

I've been some what out of the game and forgot some of the cards in the star pack and I was wondering if it was worth it? Thanks in advance.

What's been going on in the game since I've been gone? I've been trying to get back into the swing of things in YGO because summer is approaching. I remember the last cards I got were a couple of Abyss Rising packs. So what has happened and what packs should I buy?
