Awesome momo. Youve been a awesome help.
Ive learned how to duel now.
Is there different types of Machina mayhem? Or are they all the same or something.

I also got 1 ancient prophecy booster.

Machina Mayhem is a structure deck. There is only one kind, and each deck SHOULD have the same contents.
Ok Thanks. Lol. Im really sorry but Im a ABSOLUTE N00b. Also whats the Point of Getting Three?
triples of the essential cards.
As stupid as it sounds, I'm probably just going to get Lost Sanctuary for the Solemn Judgement. That's how much I need one, I'll probably just trade everything else.
Ahh. Yes just like Beyblade. Thanks.

I usually buy from the seller "read_goodeal"; I haven't had a bad experience with him, other than the shipping is a little slow; he sends the day after or so after you've paid him.

Anyway, yes, I do mean that you should get three Machina Mayhem Decks. People see them as tier-two, mainly because I feel they aren't played as much as other Decks. In my Meta anyway... but the Deck is good and has OTK power when built well.

At pegasis105rf, I've taken a look at your Deck, and it seems you're running a very dated Deck. One could argue that it may be worth it to get the Legendary Collection (LC), but it's just a $30.00 Set that is full of old packs. I wouldn't get it. If you want to be able to hold your own in the current meta without paying too much money, then get three Machina Mayhem Decks as suggested above to start.

Edit: You just need two more now. Joyful_3
I don't know if i have the money to buy 3 decks, how much are they each?
They're $10 a piece.
Just got back into YGO last night. I picked up a duelist's toolbox starter deck, 2 boxes that came with 5 packs and XX-Saber Fulhelmknight, and one pack of Legacy of Darkness for old-times sake. I wish I would have looked at this topic instead of buying on a whim or I would have just bought 3 Machina Mayhem decks.

Toys R Us is overpriced on everything. Beyblade Metallic Red String Shooter is $12 at the TRU over here.

So I went to my local Walmart to try and pick up some Machina Mayhem decks (they had loads of them in a city about 15 miles away) to find out that Walmart didn't even carry cards.....then I went to the target down the road where the only YuGiOh related items they had were the tins and legendary collection. My start-up YuGiOh hobby will have to wait.

My local comic book store runs a tournament every Saturday (I watched this week as my deck is carp right now), but I'll be up there soon.

I'm gonna kinda slow down on Beyblade as there are NO tournaments in my area, ever. YGO has some support out here.
Because, as stated above, there is no Yu-Gi-Oh! purchase consultation thread, I was wondering: which of the two would be the bettter for protecting cards when I go to tournaments and such? (because it will happen in the future) This, this, or this?

Oh, and I just saw the 3D movie. It's really good. And they provide enough backstory that people who don't watch/play Yu-Gi-Oh! (like my dad) know what's happening.

I have one of the first links you posted, I won one at locals; those cases aren't really terrible, but they aren't good either.

I would definitely recommend going with a Monster Binder. If you're going to stick with Yu-Gi-Oh and doing any sort of trading at all, eventually you're going to need one, so you might as well get one now and save yourself the trouble later. I know they're expensive, but they really are the best on the market.

The Ultra Pro case you posted isn't bad either, I know a few people who have them and use them to carry all of their deck boxes around. If you have more than a few deck boxes it might be worth it to get one, otherwise just use a book bag or something.
I have quickly been looking through some forums for strategy, not in any great detail or anything, but I do have some questions. I have quite a few "Saber" (X and XX) cards, but I have read that Saber decks are hard to build. What would a sample Saber deck be and what strategy would you employ with it?
Whoa. I've been gone quite a while. I just was destroyed in the semifinals of a local tournament. I couldn't do ANYTHING. Literally. I lost 2 straight Duels, without touching his Life Points, and got FTK'ed the first time. I played him again later, and it turned out to be a huge fluke. The participants pooled to buy a new prize and started again. I won, but only got useless cards. (Except for Book of Moon, and an Imperial Iron Wall) Needed both of those.
What deck were you and your opponent using?
I was using a Quillbolt Loop OTK, and he was running a poorly made Magical Explosion deck. He had about 20-30 monsters, and 3 Meteor of Destructions.

X-Sabers are 'hard' to build because the Cards you need times three are very expensive. XX-Saber Darksoul costs about $25.00 to $30.00, with the Ultimate generally costing the latter price. What's even worse is XX-Saber Emmersblade, which is Secret Rare; this Card, which every X-Saber Deck needs at two to three, costs a minimum of $60.00, and a maximum of around $80.00.

The general strategy to Sabers is swarming the field, locking down the back row with Cards such as Trap Stun, and back row removal with Synchro Monsters such as XX-Saber Hyunlei, Naturia Beast, and Naturia Barkion (the Naturias, which are also necessary in this Deck, are about $25.00 a piece).

I've PM'd you a cookie-cutter Sabers build, Evan.
Well, I mainly use them for easy Synchro fodder in my first deck, (basically an all-around Synchro deck. Very basic, but effective as of now.)
I started up a YouTube channel for my Yu-Gi-Oh blog last night.

Check it out and subscribe! I'll have more videos up before the day is over. Smile

I picked up the Marik Structure deck and the Shooting Star Dragon tin. I pulled an Ultra Parallel Rare (I think that's what it is) Infernity Doom Dragon out of one of the packs in the tin Smile

I totally remember the addictive quality of this game now. I'm looking forward to going to a tournament at a local comic book store soon.

Are Gravekeeper Anti-Meta decks holding up these days? The Marik deck is a great start for one, so if they are doing well I'll probably go pick up another one.
Thanks for the sub!

Gravekeeper's are actually one of the best decks in the current meta.

You're going to need Gravekeeper's Recruiter though to make a competitive build. It's only a regular rare out of Starstrike Blast though, so it shouldn't be too hard to come by.
Awesome. I played a Gravekeeper deck way back in the day, so this is a nice transition back into the game. I will be on the lookout for any Starstrike Blast packs at Target and Walmart, but I guess if I don't find them I may as well just buy a few packs online.

Would you suggest I buy just one or make it two more Marik decks?
