Ouch! that made my wallet cry just hearing it!

So I pulled off some main character magic and beat Roan 2-1. But I have to admit if he got a better hand in rounds 1 and 3 he would've won soooo hard.

Yeah those were really bad games in all sense of the phrase.

Like game 1 I opened up with nothing but crappy monsters, and then game 3 I opened up with nothing but spells and traps. I don't understand how that works, I mean I don't even play Pot of Duality IRL and yet my deck still draws more consistently than that IRL. I think it has something to do with KCVDS's shuffling algorithm. There's no way a deck should draw THAT badly, THAT often.

Joe topdecked like everything he ever needed too. Mirror Force followed by Dark Hole and Spirit Reaper and just like EVERYTHING, which further makes me believe that KCVDS's shuffling algorithm is borked.

Oh well, it was still fun though.

Yeah I finished him in Round 3 by clearing with Dark Hole, then getting him to exactly 0 with Spirit Reaper XD However in the next match I got completely and utterly destroyed, but if Crystal Beasts were playable on that system, THEN things would be different haha.

Note to self: Destiny Fortune Ladies suck.

And also, all monster hands suck.

And also, I hate Trap Dustshoot.

Yeah I just played 3 games against Daegor and he had all monster hands 2/3 games we played.

I'm REALLY starting to think there's something wrong with the way KCVDS randomizes things.

My ten, ten-card lots that have high chances of scoring Warnings and Dualities hasn't come yet; it's been about eleven days now; the same goes for my blank mats that I wanted to draw on. I seriously hope they arrive this week.

Edit: Roan, I just read your latest Blog entry; what you've said sorta scares me. If they kill off Shura and Icarus Attack, I'll be so heart-broken. I put so much time, effort, and money into my Deck; I really don't want to build another Deck, even though I've started X-Sabers.

Yeah, I really hope they don't do anything to Blackwings again either, but the deck has been touched on literally every ban list since they originally released and since it's still been doing very well in both the OCG and TCG, it's very likely that Konami will try and "balance" the deck; even though it's already completely fair and not broken at all.

They're obviously going to ban Aurora the Northern Lights.

Also, I kind of want to make a Nordic deck, but KCVDS doesn't have the cards, so I can't try out decklists there yet.

Also, I'm not sure which one I want to go for. Definitely not Loki, he seems hardest to get out consistantly. Personally, I want to focus on just one, but I can't decide between Thor or Odin.

I seriously laugh at the people who say Black Whirlwind is going to get banned. Do these people realize that that's going to have ZERO effect on the deck?

Limiting/Semi-Limiting Shura would be pointless as well if Whirlwind is still around, because then people would just play more copies of Sirocco and probably Zephyros to replace it.

The only thing they can do to properly hurt the deck competitively is to limit or semi-limit Icarus Attack and if they do that, while it won't kill the deck off completely, it's going to hurt so badly that Blackwings will quickly fall down to tier 2 and maybe even down to tier 3.

I personally REALLY want to make a Nordic Ascendant (Odin) deck. The only thing I'm waiting for is for his price to go down. That's why I think/hope the next set of tins is the Nordic monsters. It's been done before, so why not again?

Anyone up for a duel on KCVDS?

Just read it; thinking about Konami limiting or semi-limiting Icarus or another BW support card just gives me the willies alone. I also read the top 8 Decks of the 2010 Worlds, and there were three BW Decks that topped (surprisingly, no X-Sabers).

If the Deck will be deemed "dead", I just hope that X-Sabers will be as competitive, and I hope they can bring me as much joy as Blackwings did. By joy, I mean toying with the opponent's mind before crushing them. =P

I still maintain my guess that Pot of Greed is coming back as a limited card. That's about all I can guess though.
