I find that even when you get heights which allow metal-smacking (145) it still doesn't do a good job, where as when rubber-contact is made, it does better. Probably just the height difference though.

Hmm, despite the "rugged" look of meteo, I don't think it's points of contact are prominent enough.
That's why I think the smash is coming from L drago II, but from above the rubber protrusions.

This is an interesting theory, and if it is true, Lightning would be a better option for attack then L Drago II. That being said, I am biased toward my initial opinion that the smash is more prominent due to the rubber.
I thought it was obvious that LLD had the upper hand..?
