As of today, Beywiki is one year old. During that time we've amassed almost 500 members, 65000 posts, and a lot of information and news about Beyblade. And later this month, something is coming that will change the Beyblade community forever.

Thanks to everyone who let us get this far. We couldn't have done this without all of you.

It's already been a year?! Happy Birthday Beywiki! Smile

One year ago, who would have thought that by that time this year, we would be discussing and enjoying an all new Beyblade series! It happened at such an opportune time, and I think it helped propel this community forward, and with what is being planned for Beywiki right now, we will be taking be steps forward to becoming an even better community than ever before.
when exactly will the new series happen?

Umm... it is happening right now! Metal Fight Beyblade is the new series! If you're talking about the anime, I am not sure, but the first volume of the manga has already been published in Japan.

New anime is January 2009, IIRC.

What can we expect from Beywiki for the next year? (Besides the surprise, obviously.)

The surprise is what we will be doing for the next year. It's too big; I can't reveal it.

A year already? Wow. As a Beyblade community, we were pretty shaky before in terms of stability with having to move forum to forum, but it's nice to know we're still standing and that we're on now on an even stronger foundation. I'm glad to still be a part of this great Bey community and hope to see even more success in the future Smile
Wow, Happy Birthday, Beywiki!

8) They grow up so fast...!

I give away lots of Beyblades as well at my tournaments at Anime North. I think I gave away about 60 or 70 unopened this year.

yeah i remember reading from OtC that when you held tournys you would give 1st, 2nd, and 3rd a good amount of prizes. not like most tourneys where you would win one item. i remember you would give stadiums, blades, even rare ones. and mostly at your expence!
