These three shows are quite similar. I first like the Simpsons, then South Park for a short spell, and now I watch Family Guy. However, it seems that these shows are sometimes doing to much to be like eachother i.e Taking the mickey out of Judaism etc

The question is, do you prefer these shows as they are now, or as they were when they were still relatively new?
simspons old was good but new is carp i think family guy is ok not to grate bout i like about the same as simpsons but then south park owns em all hands down south park is the boss of the 3.

Why do you think this? I personally think it's a bit to over the top a lot of the time. I prefer the old ones where every episode was capped by the trademark saying: "You killed Kenny! You carp!" xd

South Park wasn't so extreme then. With the newer ones there's also the whole Steve Irwin thing. I think that the timing was appauling.

yeah but chozen people do ahve diffrent sense of humor and IMO i think south park does go a bit to far yeah.
South Park was really funny when I was ten. I find it pretty immature now.
Old Simpsons was great, but anything after 2000 is just unbearable.
Family Guy manages to make me laugh out loud during every episode.

You haven't answered the question. What is it about South Park that makes it your favourite?

IMO Family Guy is a bit more tactful, and the older Simpsons eps where the best, simply because the jokes where smarter. Now, the standard of all three shows has fallen.

I agree with Brad, though sometimes I find South Park to be funny, its usually over the top now.

This is pretty much how I feel as well.
I like shows that are animated in the countries they pretend to be in, like Chilly Beach, or Odd Job Jack. Select Canadians will know what I'm talking about.

both of these shows look like carp and suck
Normally, I'd say Family Guy. But after seeing Love Blactually, I don't think it's as funny anymore. There were only, like, two parts of that episode that made me laugh, usually the entire episode is hilarious.

I don't watch South Park, but apparently, The Simpson's is a very intelligent show. It has stupid humor for kids, and for older viewers, there's a lot of symbolism and allusions to cultures and such.
^Those words are practically all straight from my History teacher's mouth.
I don't think one episode is enough to discredit a whole series.
I think all these shows are great but Family Guy is my favorite by far now. There hasn't been one episode that hasn't made me laugh. As for Simpsons it's getting a bit boring I like some of the new stuff but the older stuff was better by far. South Park I haven't watched as much as the other two, but the episodes I have watched where funny most of the time.

Well, yes, but when that one episode has very different humor from previous episodes, and when that one episode is the first of a specific new season, it worries me what Family Guy will be like in the future.
Grey, they might just be experimenting, like they did with "My black son" etc
That doesn't necessarily mean the whole series will follow suit, although I understand where you're coming from.

My Black son was AMAZING. How old are you? You'd have to know the 80's sitcom shows like Who's the Boss and stuff to understand why that entire sequence was piss your pants funny.

I don't like family guy as a whole because it's playing to the masses. Despite the creator being an elitist snob.

South Park has become totally different from what it started out as. Now it's poking fun at celebrities and political national issues like homeland security and such.
Futurama eats all of them. There I said it. Even the less then stellar DTV movies have been better then all three's recent life.
In Futurama, I see it like this

Bender = Homer
Fry = Bart
Lola = Marge or Lisa (Not sure which one)

The main characters of Fututama and the Simpsons are quite similar, but I must say, I prefer Futurama too xd
Family Guy sucks
The Simpsons has sucked since 2000
South Park sucks
Futurama is the carp
Erm... okay...Chocked
Why do you think they all suck? (Not disputing anything, just wanna understand)

Futurama is great, ie "The carp" Tongue_out_wink

Family's jokes have NOTHING to do with the story, they are random and stupid. Blatant ripoff of The Simpsons

Simpsons circa 2000 every episode seems bland, uninteresting, and just all around bad. I still watch it anywho XP

South Park...come on. This show just tries to be as vulgar as can be while satirizing popular things and misses the mark COMPLETELY.

Which is why the Simpsons is ripping off Family Guy now, right?

Yes, both shows have become terrible....
Family Guy copied nothing from the Simpsons except that, um, there's a cartoon family.

Who is centered around random musings, insane acts, and comedy. Rip-off
