Hey guys, can anybody provide me with advice on this issue.
I'm uploading an avatar that matches the specs required:
120x120 and max 100KB.
I have tried uploading directly from the computer and it doesn't work.
I have also tried it from a two websites and it says the URL is invalid?
What is going on?
Works fine for me.
Check that you delete the 'http://' if you're copy and pasting a link into there, and also make sure the size restrictions are right. (though I see you checked already)
Hmmm, I didn't need to check coz all my avatars are that dimension as it is standard on my site. Will try your TS now.
EDIT = Doesn't work, dammit.
What happens when you try to upload directly?
It says the following:
"The file upload failed. Please choose a valid file and try again. "
I will try uploading at work, it may just be this PC. I will report my findings this afternoon.
Edit 1: It won't even upload from a Mac...so I have come to the conclusion it could be either my account or the site.
Edit 2: I created a new account called espio-test (could you please delete it). I did this to see if it was an issue with my account but the same errors occur on this fresh account.
Now it can't be two different sides of London that prevents me from uploading my avatar. I have tried 120x120, 100x100, 60x60 (all of which are less than 100K. I have tried .png, .jpg and .gif. There has to be something wrong with the site???
This issue has been fixed.
I'm getting the following error when I try and use a URL:
"The URL you entered for your avatar does not appear to be valid. Please ensure you enter a valid URL."
I have tried two different sites, my own and photobucket.
Ihave tried with the http:// and without and it isn't having any iof it???

well if you upload from your computer it works, i'll keep looking though

Until it's fixed, why not just save the avatar you want and upload it that way? It works (like Brad said) fine for me.
Yeah, I just changed my avatar by uploading it so no problems there. I did this when I realised that the site uploader on here still wasn't working. If you want an upload site just use imageshack.us or photobucket.com
See if the URLs work now.
Yup, I know URL still isn't working. Uploads should be working though.
This issue has been resolved.
I missed everything from yesterday coz I was working at Tesco for 14 hours straight, feet were dying.
Anyway, glad to here that the issue is resolved. I have my avatar up now, many thanks Brad.
