This time, I checked to make sure that no one has made this thread, and since no one has, I get to make it. Yay!

Legend of Spyro: A New Beginning was a new company, new storyline and a fresh outlook on things (mind the puns). It was pretty innovative in my opinion. Definitely loved the dojo, and the ability to actually truly practice your moves without messing up and throwing yourself off a cliff or wasting your meter or something.Plus, the last fury attack for the Convexity breath was just pure epicness Eee . But still, even though I beat the PS2 version in 10 hours, I believed that it was still a great game, and it had Elijah Wood and Gary Oldman as Spyro and Ignitus as well. The story just developed fully, and the whole "new" series of Spyro was just great (although Eternal Night was insanely difficult imo). So feel free to add on to what I said, and continue to appreciate Spyro and co. on this thread!
what platforms was this realeased for
They were released on PS2, DS, Gamecube, Advance and Xbox.
I haven't played spy since the old ps1 games and I remember them to be pretty good.
What's this new series like?
I feel so old now. The last Spyro game I played was Ripto's Rage.
the new series was very nice in my opinion, but EN was a bit difficult to complete. It was a great start for a reboot of the series.
i have enter the dragonfly thats part of the new series right
no, it's not I have it for the GAMECUBE. now, with that system, explain to me how you thought it was part of the new series, heck, it doesn't even have the same animation
i really dont no how i havent played it in two years! mabye that explaines somethng
these games and enter the dragonfly were made at least ten years apart. that should tell you whether or not they are from the same series
i tried one of the newer spyro games and it wasnt close to as good as the ps1 ones. i think that theyre made from a diffrent company now so i cant decide on any of those.
hmm... well, I've tried dawn of the dragon, and I like enter the dragonfly more, probably because I'm just too lazy to try anything that appears really challenging to me. lol
IMHO A New Beginning was way too easy. First time I played, no walkthrough, I beat the entire thing, fully powered breaths, Cynder defeated, etc., within less than 10 hours. But if you actually play through DotD, it's pretty fun. And the new games were made by Activision.

But you can simultaneously control 2 dragons in DoD, and you get 8 different breaths! (Although, the fear breath was pretty crazy...)
