Try leap stroking, regular strokes with leaps every stroke, it is very fun.

I'm a swimmer!

100 yd Butterfly and 500 yd Freestyle are my competitive races, but I love swimming in general (I play Water Polo too).
How do u do that butterflys so hard the arms ofcourse and what do u do for warmup we do 100-300/350

300 yds underwater
300 yds drills (working on stroke, pretty slow and relaxed)
3 X 50 yds fast swim

Then before an actual race I'll usually do an additional few underwater laps and good speed stroke laps (depending on the race).

Warmdown after ever race is about 300 yds or so.
argh i have to do a 200 free and 200 back any tips on how to get bettere at swimming
yay! i just passed level 6 swimming class with flying colors

my favorite stroke is the back crawl
just to necroe this..........
congrats wolfgang and i quit swim team do to ear and leg problems
I love to swim just for fun. I have a inground pool in my backyard. And last Sunday on my birthday I went to a indoors aquatic center. It had 3 slides, a wave pool and a diving board. On the diving board I was able to do a front flip. Also one of the slides was very short, but it ended 10 above the water, so when you were in mid air it felt like you were flying.
Ex Swimmer Here 14 now quit for 3months 50 free time 27.32 , 100 free time 1.05.06
50 breast 35.21 , 100 breast 1.17.16 , 50 fly 32.56 ( National Ranking 5 ) U14

I Actually am not any good at swimming but i have chlorine water allergies apparently & , my brother also got rashes due to chlorine water , i am eager to learn swimming but there are all chlorine water pools here , the pools with naturals water are very less & more expensive , like in membership resorts , but i can do some swimming with a floaty lol if this ever counts

I Am terrified by the thought of me drowning in 2012 [ myth ] so must learn proper swimming
I'm learning to swim so that I can keep the job I chose for the Marine Corps. I love using the breaststroke underwater, because so far that's my best stroke. I am best at floating on my back, but I have yet to learn the back stroke.

Well you do know that one of the major reasons we use chlorine pools now is because some of us still pee in the water . ( no offence pee'ers )
