Talk about one the best bands from the '90s here.
In my opinion, Sublime surpasses Nirvana as the best band of the '90s. I love Nirvana, don't get me wrong, but I think Bradley Nowell is a much better composer and songwriter than Kurt Cobain. Sublime is my second favorite band, next to the Beatles. In my opinion, Bradley was just as experimental as John Lennon in his songwriting style and musical style.

I own all three of Sublime's albums, as well as Bradley Nowel Acoustic and Second Hand Smoke.
Shame he died so young, five more years he could've become the greatest musician that ever lived.
I don't hate Sublime, but I don't have much drive to listen to them. From the little I've heard of them, they are a pretty good band. Also, thank you for not putting Santeria on your list. I have to deal with little rich stoners that come into my place of work who have that as their ringtone and they play it over and over sand over again. They ruin Sublime for everyone else.

Sublime is labeled a "stoner" band simply due to how many times they mention drugs, and Bradley's death was caused by a heroin overdoes. I did get into them from smoking, but I don't love them for it...honestly they make my high worse.
I love Sublime for their composition, Bradley put together the last album so well. He is one of the greatest musicians who ever lived
Also, Santeria and What I Got are two of their worst songs. They are made for radio airplay

Yes, but it's also a turnoff to people who don't smoke bud. Like I've said before, they are one of the worst things to listen to while high. I like them MUCH better as an alternative rock band, not a stoner band. Also, they don't mention drugs all that much...mostly just in The Ballad of Johnny Butt and Burritos.
