I hate to make a new topic for this but there isn't a 'General Suggestions' thread or anything, so...

I just wanted to point out that the majority of locked topics aren't getting moved to the locked topics forum. I wouldn't really mind this but it does make the forum look untidy and perhaps quite a negative community when members log on to find troll/stupid/abusive threads all over the place. I think it keeps everthing organised and looking better when all the locked topics are kept out of sight (or deleted in extreme cases). Anyway, that was it!

I asked the staff about this as well a week or so ago, and we just generally leave it there for the person to find their topic (and find out it was locked).

Maybe we should have a period of time before moving a locked thread into the Locked Topics forum? That way they'll be able to actually find it, where they posted it in originally.

I've been holding back on moving most topics to the Locked Topics forum, for the reasons bugturtles stated.

I think we should just move them though, because if a person has any brains at all, they can go to their profile and simply click the "Find All Threads" link to see all of the threads they have created and where they are, if they have been moved.

Honestly I agree. I don't really like leaving locked topics where they are either, but that's what I was told to do.

Its up to Brad whether or not we start moving locked topics.

Yeah, I originally thought leaving them in the original forums might be a good idea, but I'm regretting that decision now LOL

OK guys, from now on move locked threads to the locked topics forum and leave a 2 day copy.

You can also start moving already-locked threads there.
