Isn't Halo mostly played online? Microsoft shut down Live for the Xbox this year.

To be honest, my Xbox 360 crashes almost all the time. Although I've been lucky enough to avoid getting the infamous "Red Ring Of Death", it goes without saying that I prefer being able to immediatly play my games and not have to open and close the tray and clean the discs.

Heck, it happened just this morning when I tried to play Tales of Vesperia.

My PS3, on the other hand, never crashed but the PS3 lacks any great titles that aren't on the 360, like Tales of Vesperia...Huh...(Except if you did like me and exported the PS3 version from Japan) Also, this is supposed to be a PS3 Slim that I have, right? Why is it so freakin' big, then? I can't imagine how colossal the original must have been...

But yeah, if I have the choice between games that work and games that barely work, I'll take the working ones.

i like xbox more cuz i personally think that the graphics are slightly better and better people are online like mw2 and we have also got halo reach.

Both consoles have pros and cons. Just xbox has more pros

Xbox Pros.
Cheaper to fix.(Red lights can be fixed with a hairdryer if you know what your doing)
Games are cheaper.
Easier to mod.
Xbox live! (sorry psn is terrible. I would rather pay for a permium service)
Controllers for people with big hands
Achievements
Has more decent platform specific games Halo, GoW ect ect

PS3 pros.
Free online play
Free Blueray player

Xbox Cons
All xboxs (bar the new one)will break due to elf and safety nuts removing lead in the solder (cause of red ring of death)
no blueray.

PS3 Cons
Lasers cost £90 to replace
Hard drive errors
Fan errors
Games more expensive
Waaaaaay more expensive to mod.

Wow, way to be selective and ignorant towards some things, but I realize being fair wouldn't get your point across. Not like it really matters, both consoles are more or less the same (despite what that list may say), and it really comes down to first party preferences. Microsoft is very much dudebro PC friendly, where as Sony's probably the most rounded of the three.

What I meant is that I always have to strain my thumbs on the PS3 controller to get the X button and it hurts when youve got to keep your thumbs pointed inwards all the time XD

Uh what are you talking about. The image I posted is of the launch controller of the Xbox... You posted a 360 controller.

Hmm maybe an ADULT who has big hands would prefer a bigger controler. The original xbox controler you pictured "the duke" is my favorite controller of all time. Microsoft realised that kids couldnt get used to it so they quickly replaced it with the s type. Still Microsoft had the right idea by putting the anologue on the left. Cant think of a lot of games where the Dpad is used so much that it has to be on the left.

Also being selective?? Im waying up pros and cons. You mad because I forgot to mention ps3 has "trophies" their carp copied verion of Microsofts achievements system.

To be honest PS3 is overpriced. For what you get it doesn't justify the extra price you have to pay for it. Most game developers release pretty much the game game for both platforms. Do you realy think they can be bothered to do 1 for xbox and 1 for PS3 they just translate their code to work on both systems. Ive seen the ISO rips from games that are released through both consoles. The ps3 files are 6-10% larger than the xbox ones because the blueray disk has a higher capacity than the dual layer dvd. Its basicaly makes no difference at all. PS3 will ony put out better graphics than the xbox if you get a games developer working their asses off on a PS3 only game.

The sales show the pecking orfer of the consoles.

I've had my 360 for two years and I've never had it crash. The biggest problems I've had were games disks that were broken(not physically) and wouldn't play, and the fact that my microphone won't work with my Microsoft controller. It keeps falling out like it won't fit but it works on the broken Gamestop controller I have. That's more than enough for me to like my 360 better because my friends with PS3s have had to replace numerous parts over the years.

If by crash you mean screen freeze after it makes a Zip sorta noise your not far of getting 3 reds

If your getting a funny fuzzy colour overlay over your screen your gonna get 1 red pretty soon.

Id flog that xbox sharpish xD

Neither happened, actually, the game would just...dtop in the middle of gameplay and bring me back to the xbox dashboard without saving of my data...

Does that happen often?

i had to see the 3 red light and i freaked out

my friends said to buy the ps3 but here the xbox was R$850,00 and the ps3 R$1.500,00
so i brought a xbox and love it until today
so for me xbox360 is best tan ps3(we going to have gears 3!!!!and we have left 4 dead 1 and 2,and halo series)
ps:R$1= 2 dollars. so:850x2=your prise and 1500x2 =your prize(if u wano know make this multiplication hehe)

From what you describe it sounds like your having a disk read error. I could just be that your leaser needs to be re calibrated because its not in line properly or it needs cleaned. to test it id buy a brand new dvd (has to be a pristine disk) then play it. if It starts skipping or failing to read its a problem with your laser. They dont cost much to fix.

I like the ps3 because it doesn't have the "can't read the disc" message all the time and it has ps home. better than xbox

i love ps3 idk y probably because i am used y to the controller lol
