Hey guys,
Surfing the internet for news on a new Disgaea game and I found some YES!
So,lets get down to the meat of this thread, Disgaea 4
PlayStation has feature on Disgaea 4 with nuggets of news. New to Disgaea 4 is a Professor job and a union command for monsters. Another class system change is Disgaea 4 drops gender differences. Nippon Ichi also tweaked the tower system so its possible to move and pick up objects in Disgaea 4.
The story doesn’t just involve vampires like Valbatoze, the main character. Disgaea 4 also has werewolves and of course demons. The three races have differences and are integral to the story. Dengeki also mentions the lowest level of hell is a prison. Hey, wait… doesn’t that sound like another Nippon Ichi game, Criminal Girls?
Disgaea 4 levels up in Japan on February 24, 2011 before its thrown to North America for a summer release.
For all of you who haven't heard of or played Disgaea games, I truly reccomend them, they are basically Tactical RPG's, this part is taken off of Wikipedia:
One of Nippon Icchi's most popular franchises, it has branched off into both a Manga and Anime series. The Disgaea games take place in a fictional universe called the Netherworld and are known for their uncommon RPG elements, such as complex gameplay, extremely high maximum stats and humorous dialogue. Main characters in the series often include cynical, power-hungry antiheroes forced to fight alongside heroic foils, much to their disdain. Games in the Disgaea series have been critically acclaimed and received multiple awards selling 1.6 million games as of Q1 2010.
