Those are nice photos you shot, but they are somehow too big. Anyways, your camera is real good. Maybe you should take some photos for the Beywiki.
Do some croppin' in the photoshoppin' mah boi!

Also, perhaps roll the ISO back a little, the pictures are nice but it looks like the camera is over processing them (quite a common issue). I know this because I've been looking for a new camera because Dad's has made me enjoy photographing stuff. Serious
Yeah, I probably should :\

Mind explaining to me what the ISO of camera's is? I know it as a type or formatted disk image on the computer, and you are quite good at explaining things Smile

Also, Foxy, I don't think I am quite up to beywiki standards. I've seen the photo's they produce and whoa, not stuff capable from my phones camera (which is what I was using)
It's basically a sensitivity setting. I'm not really that knowledgeable about cameras or photography, so I could be wildly incorrect, but yeah. That said, if it's a phone camera, there's probably much less you can do.

Just fiddle with your settings, and shrink the images in photoshop/some other decent photo editing program.

Camera's ISO and ISO extension in pc are to different things.

-ISO extension in pc usually is a disk image( a soft copy or backup of a disk)
-Camera's ISO is light sensitivity of a camera, basically mean that if as the ISO setting get higher you can take photo in a more darker place in return you get NOISE on your photo( tiny grains of colors on you photo).

To take photo like the one you seen in beywiki you have to use a dslr or a compact camera with long shutter speed capability( the ability to allow light to enter your camera for a selected time), mount the camera on tripod and shot away, in this way you can have all the details of your bey as you can see in the photo.

If i'm not wrong there is an app for phone to make it capable of long shutter speed, you can take similar photo with an app like that combine with a good phone's camera(iphone4 or n95).

ISO is sensitivity to light, yes, and most phone cameras have a setting for it, as well.

My photography situation is one where I enjoy photography, I have a VERY nice camera, but I'm far too lazy to set up all the nonsense necessary to perfect my pictures for collections and such, and given the extremely limited amount of direct natural sunlight I can get without standing in the middle of my pond, it further complicates things.

So, black table, flash, whee~~~~~~~

or my bathroom sink or whatever
Honestly, I use a relatively cheap compact camera to take all my photos, with automatic settings IIRC and flash off, and it does a very good job for photographing spinning tops.
My house's lighting is terrible, though. High ceilings with few bulbs, combined with the fact that I actually have zero lights in my bedroom, lead to problems!

Yo, Hazel, try this, no flash.
That is considerably more effort than I'm willing to go through, haha.

Plus, that setup wouldn't last long around my cats.
A question here is exchanging parts beyblades?
