for those people who can't fly to canada or take a car to tournemts in other states how do we gain beypoints D:
Unfortunately, there is no other way. We used to allow free battles, but people used it to cheat too much.
Well, I personally don't really care about Beypoints I just would like to find more people in Oklahoma that Beyblade. :]

OK, then use the WBO General forum ...
depends were u are, just wait till beyblade gets more famus and more people will start tornaents in your area but for now just battle your freinds or start your own small tornament
Has the WBO ever thought about requiring tournament promoters to video their tournaments? This may be a good way to allow others to host tournaments and insure they are legit without cheating. I know that for world records in video games you can send in video of how you did. They review the video to make sure there is no cheating.

To approve a tournament, we must trust the organiser first. Those who can film it do though.
I understand. I know for certain games you have to take an online judge test to become a level 1 judge but to become higher you have go to an event and have a higher level judge give you a test. Friends of mine ran card tournaments for upperdeck but they ran the regional tournaments which actually gave more points. I'm always full of ideas so I guess I may as well list some of them and see what you guys think 8).

1. online judge test

2. tournament promoters must video their tournament for it to be counted.

3. different levels of tournaments.
a. level 1 gain or lose 10 points if you win or lose and can be hosted by an official judge.
b. level 2 gain or lose 20 points if you win or lose and can be hosted by an official promoter.
c. level 3 gain or lose 30 points hosted by WBO only
d. level 4 gain or lose 40 points hosted by WBO only

the third idea would be something like level 1 local,level 2 regional,level 3 national,level 4 world.

limit the amount of tournaments to be hosted a week or a month as well. that way you don't have people trying to pad their points but with video evidence then it shouldn't be a problem anyways.

the only real draw back i see from this is actually having someone to watch all the videos and that takes man power. if they post a link here for the WBO to look at then you should have the man power to take care of it.

p.s. tell me what you think. a no is fine but i always enjoy feedback whether it's good or bad 8).
That seems too complicated to be honest, hah. Most of the time, it is clear whether somebody can be trusted and knows the rules of Organized Play when you just look at their posts.

Of course, that makes a lot of kids unable to hold tournaments because sometimes they make bad posts ...
Sounds good 8). I was trying to figure out how others could run tournaments without padding points lol. I understand totally why you don't want everyone to be able to run tournaments as well. The more sanctioned tournaments you can hold will help the WBO grow though. Thanks for the reply btw.

Are you talking about me? I guess it doesn't matter, if I decided to host one it would probably be in Toronto and I know there is a WBO member in Toronto, so I'd just pick a day when they might be able to show up...
(Sep. 13, 2010  9:15 PM)CherryICG Wrote: [ -> ]Are you talking about me?
I was not talking about anybody in particular. There are just some kids who did not even really read the rulebooks or the Event Guide yet who still propose events. And if they do not read that, then they do not read most of the other resources we have, so their posts are generally not that good ...
hmm the only hard part about if i host a tournament is judges, idk how to find them or do u just find a random adult and tell them the rules after u asked them if they would be a judge?

Judges are also part of the community ... Usually it is somebody who has shown that they have a good knowledge of the hobby, and that they also know the rulebooks.

yeah sure and ask him to hold a tournament

... I just wrote that you did not need any adult at all ...

We think about it, but we know the possibility is inexistent. We do not even want to use Hasbro's Beystadiums, hah.

in my town there are people that collet beys but really wants to battle but cant becauuse they dont know the rules and if its legal to battle others in the town when they use beys that are made from the WBBA company. so is it legal is my question? private message me plz
There... is no "WBBA" company. If you meant Takara-Tomy, or SonoKong, then yes, they're legal, as are Hasbro. Otherwise, they are fake.

That question does not belong here.

I personally think that blading to get the most points is dumb, like what happened to just chilling with friends and just blade for the heck of it? I used to love those days...
Why dont you guys find out how to make an online battle system? at least one that is like pokemon indigo's one. and if u guys do try 2 make it 4 mobile
It would take way too much time and effort to attempt to build a good online battling system that is not like BeybladeBattles.com. Beyblade is more fun when you actually play it anyway.
