the new designs (locust helmets, shields (not the meat ones, the locust metal kind), small changes to guns, new cog soldier) look retarded.

i'm not really sure what it is, but the graphics look like 10x better than GoW1, even though i thought the single player footage looked like GoW1.1

i also have the egm with the gears 2 coverstory, it's awesome, should definitely read if you are excited for this.

not sure if i should revive this but considering the game just came out

OMG yes, new characters though ...... another carmine lol. It reveals a lot though, it can be just one plot unwinder. Also, you get to ride reavers and brumaks....(google image them)

I have the game and I've spent most of my time in Horde mode, which is strange because I thought that was going to be my least favorite aspect of the game. I haven't even started the campaign yet. lol

Its really a shame the matchmaking is carp busted right now though.

Really everyone says horde is the best part of the game(?)

gow2 killed my xbox

although i got a nifty action figure of a locust with its head blowing up for free with it

@ Roan, horde is a lot of fun but you should try the campaign, there's so many new vehicles and features in it. Matchmaking is slow and doesn't work 90% of the time

I just started the campaign and it also killed my Xbox with Disc Read Errors every time a carp cut scene played.

I got pissed so I quit playing.

My mate got the LTD box for it for his birthday. Only played a little bit online and some hoarding (up to wave 10 on normal). Got to Wave 9 and carp, those Boomers are a carp lol. Was well fun and total carnage!!

use shotguns on boomers. those errors are really strange, i never had that problem, just play multiplayer instead of not playing at all

for the disk read error get a blowdryer and put cold air into the 360(the disk tray) for about 2 min and that should fix it 4 a while if not call microsoft and tell them u purchased GoW2 and it messed up ur system

if its an overheating problem then DONT OVERUSE YOUR XBOX.

lol, The new ones might have some sort of airconditioning system so it doesn't happen. They're are little late

That would require them not trying to get the jump on the compeitition. Cutting Corners is fast, making a long last quality product isn't!*
