haha im pretty sure im the only one who likes the sword strike pack everyone ive meet likes the launcher or the alie packs.
I only like Exias sword thats attached to its arm, the other ones i dont like as much it esspically compared to the anti ship swords the strike and destiny have

I love the buster on the Aile pack, but when it come to cannons I still have to go with the one with a nuke in it.
To, these are mechs not drones.
As for the GP02 I would switch up the power source with a GN Drive to give it more power and a shield, other than speed it doesn't really need much,

haha why GN drive over nuclear reactor??GN pariticals at times do more harm then good throughout the 00 series lol.
id have the wings from the freedom with the fold out cannons with the destinys weapons such as the palm cannons,sword,cannon and boomarangs.The freedoms waist skirt for the fold out cannons on there.Im not sure what head unit,torso unit and leg units id use if i could use any part from any mech for my own custom mech tho

Come on just imagine GP02 going Trans Am! That alone is a great reason, but I love the extra shielding that comes with it. I'm not done with additions though because I'm still thinking of additions. I like the boosters on GP02's shoulders but they seem somewhat restrictive to arm movements unlike Wing Zero Kai, or the
Deathscythe Hell.
yeah wing zero custom's wings are for entering the atmospher aparently but i loved the boosters on the orginal wing zero.I like Deathscythe hells wing units how theyre used as a sheild aswell, also its small sheild with the beam dagger thing ahhh its been awhile since ive seen gundam wing so i might be getting deathscythe hell confussed with deathscythe
Another thing with deathscythe is that using a scythe in a mech would be so diffcult haha i had this pretty into it disscussion about it with a guy from my hobby store we both agreed duo is deffanitly one of the best gundam piolts ever because of so well he can use the scythe lololol.
Trans Am is quite cool haha but it reminds me so much of kaioken from dragonball z in the sense speed and power is increased dramaticly but it can only be used for a small amount of time, oh and also that it makes the mech glow a redish colour xD.
What eles would be cool is trans am+destinys "wings of light" :3

Long range combat is pretty useless when you have a SHIELD!!! Seriously, there is no point in ranged weapons unless they're on a ship. My mech is the DESTINY!!!... but I have no clue how to put the picture here. If someone can tell me, I'll put it in, but you know what the Destiny Gundam looks like, right?
Oh, and i'd add Exia's Arm Sword on each arm.

In real life the Barrett M107 .50 calibre sniper rifle can shoot clear through a riot shield from a mile a way, when you scale that up to mechs and beam weapons a shield will have the same problem. If there is a sniper with enough stopping power like the Dynames has, than if the shield is metal than it can only take so many hits before it is damaged beyond repair. On the other hand if it is a beam shield than all the sniper needs is one shot to hit the generator in the middle of the shield to render it useless and most likely take of the arm of the mech, additionally the beam shield can only take so many hits before it overloads and shuts down. There is no way to close the distance between you and the sniper before he can take you out, so naturally there is need for another counter measure. The most important detail to realize is that in space a beam weapon will hit directly where it is aimed because there is no bullet drop to deal with, I would assume the same is true on earth but I don't know if the weapons are indeed like lasers or in fact plasma cannons. Plasma will drop in an area with gravity, light produced from a laser won't, so everything is more accurate in space, and it might be extremely accurate on earth and just one shot can make a huge difference.
