BEYBLADE X RANKED TOURNAMENT!

Format: The format for this event is Swiss format 3 on 3. Each participant will play 5 rounds (6 if we have more than 32), and then the top 8 will compete in the finals, which will be DECK format.

Time: As the tournament will start promptly at NOON, please plan to arrive by 11:30 AM. Registration will close at 11:55 AM. Confirming your attendance on the WBO event page does not substitute for registration at the venue, and late comers cannot be added after the tournament begins. We expect to be done prelims by 2:30PM and finals by 3:30PM.

Rules Overview:
- You will need three (3) official beyblade X beys.
- The first blader to score FOUR (4) points is the winner. Ties may only be repeated twice and then move on to the next bey.
- The 8 finalists will play DECK FORMAT, also to seven (7) points!

POINT BREAKDOWNS!
- 1 Point for spinout
- 2 Points for knockouts
- 2 Points for bursts
- 3 points for an Xtreme knockout

Please be advised that this tournament will make use of the following Ranked Clauses in addition to, or in place of, rules listed in the Format Rulebook:

Out-of-Bounds ruled as Over Finish
  • Any Beyblade that goes out-of-bounds in this Tournament will be considered knocked-out instead. If a Beyblade is knocked-out in this manner, it will count as an Over Finish.

7 Point First Stage
  • First Stage Matches are played to 7 points for this Tournament.

RENT AN X BEY SET!
If you do not have your own Beyblade X beys yet, you will be able to rent a set at the event. This will be an additional $5 for the day. The beys must be returned after your match and picked up again when your next match is called.

Participants: There will be a cap of 40 participants.

Tournament Prizes: TBD

You can still show up if you want to and just battle for fun, but also there might be some chance for you to participate. Normally at these tournaments, sometimes people are a no show for some reason, and a spot opens. But if that is not the case, I am still sure we can let you blade not in the tourney but just for fun

Yeah tbh I didn't expect this either. When beyblade X cam out. The first X event in Houston was filled up, and I think we went slightly over the limit. After that our numbers stabilize, but for some odd reason for the start of the new Year it goes back up again. That goes to show. How much people are getting interested in Beyblade. 🙃
40 people? Oh Jesus christ this is gonna be crazy

Just wanted to add if I am able to make it. I'm probably going to bring some Stuff for sale burst and m. F. B. But maybe a few plastic gen things as well. Just for the record, I'm not attempting to sell these "during" the tournament So there should not be any issues

We have a couple of bags of preset combos to choose from. We will not be allowing players to mix and match, as it makes it difficult to track the parts.
Hope it’s a fun prize
are you letting the people keep the beyblade combos that they made

If you read her post, she says clearly that there are preset combos Nobody gets to make their own custom combo Unless you bring your own parts. And I highly doubt that you would be allowed to keep them unless lord phresh is feeling particularly generous. Considering the fact that He and brynessa both spend their own money to get this sort of activity planned and coordinated probably best to just return them after you're done
It has shaped up to be a very busy event this time my friends! Our venue space is limited, and with 40 registrants + parents, we will very likely have minimal space for a play area. I request that all bladers limit how much gear they bring this time, just bring your necessities. We have enough arenas - depending on how judges matches shake out, we will be trying to have 6 arenas going to make sure we have plenty of matches moving at once! I look forward to seeing everyone on Sunday!
Missed this one but I won't miss the next one count your days and remember the name toxicthereaper
