Folks - my 8 year old got a Shu Caramel BB in the post today off ebay. I think its the most excited he's ever been about something.

Problem is it doesn't seem to want to clip together properly - when you try and launch it it just falls apart. The bottom 'shoe' piece doesn't feel like it firmly connects into the small top bit of plastic, even with all my weight on it on the concrete floor.

Has anyone had this and have any ideas/ help?

Thanks in advance.
Do you have a photo? There are, no exaggeration, dozens of Beyblades that fit your description - probably a specific part is causing the issue.
Hi its a Beyblade Burst Superking B 172.

The body and the chassis just about hold together ok. I feel like the bottom (red pyramid shaped bit that touches the floor) should clip more firmly into the top (smallest bit of plastic that regulates the burst). Neither me, my boy nor my other half can do it even with watching an instruction video on youtube? Is that normal or am i just old and tired?

You need to twist to lock. The metal part of the Chassis on the underside turns to lock - when the bottom "Driver" is completely in all the way (the internal spring is compressed), you then twist clockwise or counterclockwise depending on the configuration.

OK thanks i will persevere and see if that works. I think my other half has finally got it working clockwise only.

What a life!

That video is really helpful.

I really hate to break it to you, but that's a fake beyblade. That means it's not officially made by Takara Tomy or Hasbro (the legit creators of the toys).

It also has lead in it, and I don't think I have to tell you why that's a bad thing.

Here's two links that will bring you to a good and legit website where you could buy the real version, and tons more! Like a good launcher that can make it spin well.
