Hello everyone,
It's one week before the Beyblade First Xperience NJ Event and I am very excited to see all of you there.
I am here to clarify a few details.
For people that did not have any Beyblade X stuff before the event, you will be able to borrow 7 Gen X beys provided by the WBO and you will have a chance to win a bey of your own in a raffle that will occur at the end of the tournament so you will have to try to stay for the majority of the tournament.
To keep things simple, the beys given away in the raffle will be in their stock combos.
The format for the first stage is 1v1 in which you will only use 1 bey for the entire match. You and your opponent will not be allowed to see each other's combos until the match starts.
For people that will be borrowing beys for the event, you will go up one by one to the judge to make your combo in secret to ensure no one will be spying on what combo you will use for that match.
Prizes for the tournament will include KnightLance, WizardArrow, and Dransword.

The forecast calls for a 40% chance of rain in Belleville. What's the plan if it rains? I noticed on Google Maps that there's a small area with a roof in the middle of the playground, so we could potentially relocate there if it gets wet out. If we do that though, where will everyone stand? I don't think there's enough room for every participant/chaperone/spectator.

The plan is to either reschedule it to the 27th or September 2nd at worst. August 27th seems more likely since people have been planning to go to the event for that weekend for a while. I have been trying to look into indoor venues, but it's difficult since most TCG stores in NJ always have events going on the weekend or are too small in capacity to accommodate everyone. From what I checked, the chance for rain on the 26th has decreased for the most part so we should be fine unless I make an announcement to state otherwise.

It's too late to join considering no one has dropped out yet. I will not accept last-minute entrants for the event or raise the cap as I want everyone already included that doesn't have Gen X stuff to have a fair chance of winning Beyblade X stuff in the raffle.

The tournament will go on as planned for tomorrow.

Please be at Belleville Park by 11:30am for the check-in.
