psh that sucks every on here in arizona that have a wbo live so far from each other
Well, at least a fair lot of us are located in the Valley, and not way out in say, Flagstaff or Tuscon. volcom-stone14 is the only AZ WBO blader who I can think of who lives outside of the valley area, and he's in Yuma.

Geographically speaking, it seems that a large majority of us are centralized in the North/West Valley; but I don't want to discriminate against any of you guys down in Queen Creek should we try to hold any sort of WBO-sponsored tourney. At the moment, it seems like Hero's Comics seems to be a good venue seeing as it's at least in the middle of the valley or so, but I've yet to attend any of Will's meetups. We'll have to see whats up in the next coming weeks or so.
hmm that is true why don't you join my tourniment
1. Chandler is a pretty far drive.
2. There are almost no confirmed entrants. Everything else about it just seems extremely underplanned. Are we aiming for WBO certification? If not, what kind of format are you running? Should I expect TT stadiums or Pegasus Thunder Whips? I'd like to see that we have at least some cohesion within the AZ Beyblade community first before we start going about driving 40 minutes into other sections of the valley.
Well on wensday I will post every thing official and I am trying to get it wbo approved but I need 8 official bladders to approve also if you join there will be a possible of 10 bladders even if two don't join then we still have enough and I and the others have metal fight thunder whip also there may be prizes but that idea is so skechy

is heroes comics a store? and we should also try to find more than one meeting place for us
I think it is
Honestly, not to sound like a carp here, I don't think that your tournament is going to slide with committee. At the moment, we should focus on having more meetups and have some smaller scale unofficial tournaments before we try to bring one up to the WBO. You also have to keep in mind that you have to be capable of donating all the tournament entry fees to the WBO; do you have a PayPal, and the means to pay the minimum $40 for 8 entrants? Do you even have 8 entrants?
i will no by Friday for every one that's joining and what is the commuti and yea i don't want to buy for the tournament but i could
You have to get your tournament approved by the WBO? Plus you have to donate for it to become official?
i wish there were tourneys a little closer to me. and are you trying to make it an official tournament?

We can hold as many WBO unsanctioned tourneys as we want, but darkwolfff is trying to get his to go through. I just think that it's a bad idea to try and propose one now, because the committee may not take us seriously the next time we try to bring one up. And yeah, the $5 entry fee for WBO sanctioned tourneys go straight to the WBO.

As far as tourneys go, I'd like to see what I can do in regards to holding unofficial tournaments. My "group" (the BSF) is based in the West Valley, so I'm not exactly sure how picking a more centralized venue would work. I recently purchased a TT attack stadium too, so now we have everything we need to host a WBO-certifiable event.

On a slightly unrelated note, I brought my Beys with me to school today and it was hype as balls and I yelled a lot. It was great~.
I'm sorry, i didn't know about the entry fees. And yes the tournament will be helt at chandler park at 4:30 threw 5:00. There's no prizes anymore. The park is at higley park.

I do try to read all of the posts on this message board, so I see what sort of progress is made, etc.

Also, yes, technically the entry fee goes to us, but of course we are a non-profit organisation and any money we get goes back towards the community as a whole. That was probably what you knew and meant, but I just found that it sounded odd, hah.
dang, joined this kinda late. but anyways, is anyone here from Queen Creek? i kinda feel like a loner, no one to battle round here.
thats cool i live in vegas and am a blader i have a bey team called the "dragon 1" mabey ill see you guys in a tornement

It's all good. We'll try to make it so that the WBO can recognize Arizona as a fierce scene in the future! Maybe not like, Canada or Italy status, but still notable nonetheless.

Save for darkwolfff it seems like we're all in the West and Northern sections of the valley, with another one down in Yuma. There's also a get-together/tourney of sorts that darkwolfff has been trying to setup for Saturday in Chandler, so that could work out?
