Based upon the best selling, and award winning book, authored by Douglas Coupland, comes jPod. A quirky dark comedy about one video game development crews'(afectionately called jPod due to a computer malfunction sorting staff with a "J" in their name together) life at Neotronic Arts whilst dealing with the Chinese Mafia, drug dealers, crazy clowns, and a whole lot more. Despite hundreds of thousands of people downloading the show on torrent sites, the award winning show, was canceled in March by the CBC after being put in a dismal Friday night slot(the show's target audience, teens and young adults, are usually not at home on a Friday at 9PM). Despite a tremendously dedicated fan campaign(see www.savejpod.ca/ ) of setting up protests, auctions of cast signed merchandise, a "Lego man" mail campaign, the CBC refuses to budge. Now here's our real chance to show the CBC some numbers they can use, ratings! jPod will be rebroadcast in Canada starting Thursday, June 19, 2008 at 8PM(EST) on the CBC. I encourage all of you, to tell all your friends and family, as well as yourself to sit down a watch the rebroadcasts.
