There is a video of a Low-based attacker using Aurora Ver's CS on Drigergt2 user channel!
Apparently, there might be a 3rd Hasbro CS. The Rock Zurafa Face Off Set comes with a Torch Gemios, which apparently uses CS.

From what I have gathered, there are atleast 2-3 Hasbro CS variations and 4-5 Takara Tomy CS variations. I cannot speak for Sonokong though.

Hasbro: Ray Striker, Lightning Sword Showdown, Crushing Rock Blast
TT: Ray Unicorno Starter, Ray Unicorno Booster, RBV6 (blue), RBV6 (purple), Auroura version.
Sonokong is identical to TT, though they've only released it in the Ray Unicorno Starter.

And the RBV6 ones are identical (and they're identical to the booster one, and probably the aurora ver)

Anyway, as for hasbro, I'll write a tentative summary up for the lightning sword showdown mold, but leave it to others to decide if it's worth including without proper testing or w/e.

New ones can be added as they're found/tested or whatever.
I noticed an error in the "Overall" section. Read the bolded and underlined text.

Quote:Even though Ray and CS are outclassed in Attack and Defense by Vulcan and RS respectively, this Bey is still a great purchase.

CS is not outclassed in defense, yet.
Vulcan should be removed there, it is no longer top tier. It can be replaced by something that is (haven't checked of late). Beat would be a good replacement there.

Anyway, figured I should post this. It's not as good as I'd like and the format of the information will need to be decided upon, but this contains all of the relevant information, so I'll leave it for you to decide. Yeah, given the time I've had it should be better, I've been busy and stuff, and I suck at deadlines.

Mold Differences Wrote:There are numerous different molds of CS, which can act very differently. The differences are due to the length of the rubber coat, resulting in differing contact with the stadium surface. If the rubber is large enough to make contact with the surface, it will result in aggressive movement, suitable for attack customs. If the plastic sharp tip is in contact, the tip will be largely stationary, serving better use in defensive customs.

It is best to be aware of this before purchasing to make sure you choose one appropriate for the intended use. A rundown is as follows:

BB-71 Takara Tomy/SonoKong Ray Unicorno Starter: Generally Aggressive. It is possible to receive a calm one. Due to these factors, the starter set is best avoided for either use.

BB-93 Takara Tomy Ray Unicorno Booster: Defensive/Calm. It is possible to receive a mildy aggressive CS, but this is a very rare occurrence, and these can generally be controlled by taking extra care when launching. This is an excellent choice for defence (though the beyblades from BB-107 that have CS can usually be found slightly cheaper).

Ray Unicorno Aurora Version: Defensive/Calm. Good for stamina/defense, though presumably, like all releases, it would be possible to receive a somewhat aggressive one.

BB-107 Random Booster Volume 6 Galaxy Sagittario 145CS and Flame Gemios 105CS): Calm/Defensive. Basically identical to BB-93, but can usually be found slightly cheaper.

Hasbro Ray Striker: Very Aggressive, however this wears quickly, and from then on it tends to switch between aggressive and calm quite often. Fresh out of the box it is excellent for use in attack combos, the rubber providing extremely fast movement, while the sharp tip gives it some extra stamina.

Hasbro Lightning Sword Showdown Ray Striker D125CS (Tentative): Apparently very calm, though testing is needed on its viability in defence customs.

Please note this is just a general pattern and there will be variance, so it is possible to receive a calm CS from BB-71, or an aggressive CS from BB-93, for example.
I don't have heaps of confirmation on this but the Sonokong Ray Unicorno's that come with a LL2 tend to be calm. I no a few people who have observed this including myself.
Yes its true it does. As TT comes with the LL1.

EDIT: As some may have seen, A post had said what's a Ray Unicorno. That post was not made by me. I do not know the reason of why there are post not made by me.
: Really? Mine was aggressive. Think it came with an LL2. Do you know if Sonokong released one with an LL1? I'm quite sure they didn't release a booster but yeah.
Sonokong did release a Ray Unicorno with an LL1.

Maybe the LL2 one is closer to the booster release then.... I'm pretty sure my sonokong one came with an LL1.

Guys who have the LL2 SONOKONG release, are the track and cs translucent black/grey or solid grey? I guess I need to find those release numbers. Apologies for not being aware of that release.
I picked up another Ray "Striker" today, and looking at the CS, Hasbro seems to have reinforced it with extra plastic. I'm pretty sure this is to reduce breakage. I have 3 other Hasbro ones I got before this one, and none of them have this reinforced CS, so I'm guessing Hasbro began reinforcing it recently.

Performance wise, it doesn't seem to be any different than my other Hasbro CS.
They've been modifying a lot of tips like that. Maybe to reduce breakage from kids launching them onto floors from a height. Won't affect performance though tbh.

That needs to be added to the article asap, if it hasn't been already.

Very interesting. As long as the CS section will list all the releases that include CS, we will have to include the Hasbro Crushing Blast Face Off and the (2?) sonokong releases as well, when someone gets a chance to look at them.

Correct. Almsot all of there parts are getting a complete remold, especialy the performance tips. WB has a new mold, and so does Rock
Go ahead and add the CS mold differences section, th!nk. Good job! However, do not include this part:

th!nk Wrote:Hasbro Lightning Sword Showdown Ray Striker D125CS (Tentative): Apparently very calm, though testing is needed on its viability in defence customs.

If it hasn't been tested enough, we shouldn't include it. I'm also a bit hesitant about including the comment on the Aurora Version because besides Deikailo, who else has tested it?

And just to be certain, the comments in this section are strictly speaking about the performance of a brand new CS, correct? I only ask because my RBV6 CS's have become somewhat aggressive sometimes now that they have seen extensive usage.
Someone did a test, but I cant remember who or where...

Adding what happens to the tip as it wears is another good idea. Some
mint ones will preform alike but be different later on, and
vice versa

Ooh, good enough? Man, I thought it was a pretty average job myself, but yeah, glad to hear it.

And yes, they only refer to new ones. I'll write up a small paragraph about wear before I add it, I still need to do the formatting and stuff for the whole thing so yeah. All CS's eventually get to a point where they're somewhat aggressive, though nothing like a mint Hasbro one.

As for the Aurora Version, that's true, though I suspect it's probably correct, there's relatively little information, and the main use for that is collection, given it's rarity and the far cheaper methods of getting a defensive cs.

It is solid grey. Me Darkblader12 and travisawesome (I think he got a LL2) all got calm CS's but I also have a LL1 Ray Unicorno and it is aggressive.
Yes, I have a calm CS. Plus, your grammar is off. It's 'Darkblader12,travisawesome and I'.
Relax its not like its you can't understand it , I was on my Ipod anyway. I no you have a calm CS , I was unsure if you got it with a LL2...
I can reconfirm the Sonokong starter's CS is solid grey. Mine is fairly aggressive.

As for the aurora version. It would be invalid for comparison tests, as it has no rubber. It's just crystal clear plastic bottom shaped like a normal CS. Yep, no rubber.

Are you absolutely certain ? It was supposed to be clear rubber, which can be produced as far as I know.
Yeah, 100% sure. I tapped it against a hard surface, and it made the tapping noise, unlike rubber. I pressed it against my fingernail, and it didn't leave a mark, unlike rubber. The aurora CS is more similar to DS than it is a regular CS.
Just checked because I was alarmed that none of us had ever noticed this before, but yeah, it's definitely a different material. I was able to leave a mark with my nail, but it is most definitely harder than the rubber used in my BB-71 CS.
Could it just be much harder rubber ?

I still feel that this 'different material' is plastic though. It's the exact same material and color used for the track.
