Wind (ウインド, Uindo) is a BU Blade released by Takara Tomy as part of the Burst System as well as the Dynamite Battle Layer System and the Burst Ultimate Layer Series. It debuted in Japan with the release of the B-202 Random Booster Vol. 30 on September 10th, 2022.
==Description==
Wind, like its predecessor Air Knight, is a Stamina Type BU Blade with a wide and round perimeter. As part of the Dynamite Battle Layer System, it is comptaible with any Right/Dual Spin DB Core and Armor. Like Air Knight and Maximum Garuda, it features blades connected to the perimeter, though unlike the aforementioned layers, it has an additional gimmick: the underside of the layer can be rotated to switch between Upper and Down Force Modes.
Theoretically, in Upper Force Mode, the Upper Force generated will "lift" the Beyblade off the stadium and decrease friction to improve stamina by pushing air upwards, while Down Force Mode will generate Down Force to grip the stadium by pushing air downwards. In truth, there is negligible performance between the 2 modes.
Much like Air Knight, Wind's round shape and High Outward Weight Distribution makes it excellent for Stamina and Defense oriented combinations.
==Use in Stamina Combinations==
Wind can be used in the combination Wind Belial 2/Dragon/Valkyrie 1 Illegal/Over/Giga Bearing'-3/9/0/10/4. Dragon/Valkyrie 1's Burst Risk is somewhat nullified by Wind's Round Design, with said design's low recoil also complimenting Belial 2's Burst Stopper, and while Bearing' has low Knockout Resistance, the heavy weight of the parts mentioned can mitigate that.
==Overall==
Due to its low-recoil design and High Stamina makes it suitable for a variety of Stamina oriented combinations
As such, Wind is a must have for competitive bladers.
