Full Version: Painting a BeyLauncher?

This might be stupid, but as the new hasbro BeyLaunchers are a LOVELY(Sarcasm) shade of rust orange, if i wanted to safely spray paint it, other than obviously taping the string area itself, and making it a very light coat, do you think you could spray paint them?
In my opinion, it would be better to dissassemble the beylauncher (be warned this could cause the beylauncher to not work if you don't put it back together properly) then use plastic dyes to alter the colour, though, you can't change the colour of orange very easily, I suggest dying it white first, then a colour you desire.

NOTE: I have 0 experience with plastic dyes, so I may not give you a suitable answer, but I tried.

Edit: This is in the wrong forum section, it be more suited in the Beyblade General forum, under the section "Ask a question, get an answer!" thread

Kid Windy, you can't "dye something white".

You will probably have to spray it. Why not just keep the Beylauncher handle in a neutral position, so none of the string is exposed ... ?

Of course, you should apply a layer of primer first, and a top coat finish afterwards.

Obviously you cant dye something white, but you can dip it in white dye which will lighten the orange colour before dying it the colour you wish to use.
There is no such thing as white dye.
You could try something from RIT called Colour Remover. It's to remove dark colours before dying to a lighter colour.
