D Gear (Dギア, Di Gia) is an Evolution Gear accessory released by Takara Tomy as part of the Burst System as well as the Dynamite Battle Layer System. It debuted in Japan with the release of the B-199 Booster, Gatling Dragon Karma Charge Metal'-10, on June 25th, 2022.
==Description==
Takara Tomy's D Gear is an Evolution Gear that is compatible with the Nexus and Nexus-Q Forge Discs, as well as the Almight Disc Integrated Driver. The D Gear attaches to the Disc, akin to a Core Frame with a Disc Frame.

As an Evolution Gear derived from the Dragon line of Beyblades, the D Gear features a gimmick reminiscent of Takara Tomy's Sting Forge Disc: the D Gear features four blades intended to deliver a barrage attack. When struck, the D Gear slides a short distance, repelling the opposing Beyblade. Like most disc oriented gimmicks, this isn't particularly effective, and like its predecessor the S Gear, heavily increases Nexus/Nexus-Q's weight at the cost of an increased scrape risk. Like S Gear, it can be flipped for a fixed mode to produce a Limited-like shape, but this considered illegal and doesn't have that large an impact of performance.

That said, the D Gear is less wide than the S Gear, diminishing its scrape risk, making it more suitable on Attack combinations using Xtreme'/Quick'.
==Overall==
While the D and S Gears are equally matched in most situations, the former can be slightly better due to its lower scrape risk, though this advantage isn't too big,

As such, D Gear is a must-have for competitive bladers.
