Hello, I'm new to the Burst Format and bought a couple of the remakes of the Original Series Beys, Dranzer and Driger specifically. I enjoyed playing with them so much that I got into the hobby again lol.

I bought sever Pro Series beys and while I don't plan on using the two slingshock beys that I bought very often against them, I was wondering if The Drivers that came with them are useable on my Pro Series beys. I understand through attempting to research this topic that Takara Tomy drivers mixing with hasbro layers is a no no, but are all hasbro parts compatible?

Thanks in advance for the help, I look forward to your responses.
No, pro series is not compatible with the regular hasbro beys. You can swap the disks, but not the layers and drivers

Thank you for your reply, I noticed my older weights do have spots in them that I could put my disc frames on them, so I may end up having some use with them after all lol

As bladekid stated, Pro Series drivers and other Hasbro Beyblade products are not compatible. Since Pro Series uses a clicking system, it's basically like sticking a TT driver on a Hasbro layer. It is possible, but it leads to unbalanced play, not being able to play in official tournaments, and most importantly, wears down the Beyblades much faster.

Thanks for the response, for clarifications sake I'll ask a bit more directly as my wording was a bit muddled in the original post. Can I use Slingshock Drivers on Pro Series Layers?

They seem to fit in there with no issues on teeth wear, and with similar plastics it should be alright but I wasn't too sure on the long term side effects of these uses,

Thanks again for your time.

...They technically shouldn't be used together, but they can I suppose, as long as you see no signs of extreme wearing on either the layer or driver
As a follow up to this post, currently with my hasbro only selection of beyblades (not my choice, just hard for me to get TT/Overseas products)

I've been testing around with combinations of the Slingshock Drivers on the Pro Series Layers, and here are my results.

**Performance Results**
Zeta(S) - Not worth using, Too light of a part, and despite having a decent spring, the three tips on the driver are all outclassed by my Pro Series Drivers.

Tower(S) - This was surprising to me, I like the Slingshock Tower Performance Tip a lot using the Slingshock mode for the (surprisingly wide) Hole Flat tip, The main mode with the semi flat is outclassed by my PS parts much like Zeta(S). Due to the wide hole flat and low friction, this performance tip makes for an excellent Tornado Stalling tip in my experience, and once in a blue moon has enough attack capabilities to knock out even the heaviest combo I put it against. As this is not a Dash' Driver, Bursting is still an issue however, though it appears to hold up against other non dash drivers.

**Durability Results**
Zeta and Tower share the same quality of durability, I had concerns that they would cause increased wear on the teeth, or the teeth of the Pro Series layers would some how damage the spring. So far neither has been the case, I would say that the teeth on my chips are more fresh than if I had been using Pro Series Drivers with them. I tried to put PS drivers on the sloped layers and it DID NOT WORK, I felt the need to force the part on, used a driver I knew I wouldn't mind risking and when I did I noticed significant warping in the plastic of the Crystal Dranzer layer I used, which thankfully unwarped with no lasting damage as the driver was taken off. I wouldn't recommend this. PS Weights do seems to do fine on the Sling Shock system though. (Driger Convert-P go brrrrr)

**Overall Take**
The parts do fit together pretty well, I personally don't see damage, the main issue I was looking at for these drivers, that's a plus. I cannot be sure across the board if this is the case, but I recently bought the QD Ragnaruk for the String Launcher (Good investment if you're states locked like me), So I will be testing it and posting once more when I do, after initial tries with it, I think it works too. In terms of durability, my Pro Series drivers do more damage to my chips than the Slingshock ones. Performance Wise, it's a toss up, They're probably semi-competitive in a GT format, however outside of that I would skip them for competitive play, performance aside I don't think the combos are allowed anyway. If you're looking to have fun with friends or yourself with a new set of variations of play I'd say go for it. It's all about fun and sometimes having goofy parts and combos is the best way to increase that level of fun.

**TL;DR**
Do the parts fit - Yes
Have mine worn down significantly - No
Do they perform as well as PS Drivers? - Sometimes
Worth investing in Regular Hasbro if you already have PS - No if short on cash, Yes if money is no issue
Is it fun? Absolutely
For me, a good pro series combo is prime apocalypse, Drake, and ultimate reboot.
