Chain (チェーン, Chēn) is a BU Blade released by Takara Tomy as part of the Burst System as well as the Dynamite Battle Layer System. It debuted in Japan with the release of the B-198 Random Booster Vol. 29 on May 28th, 2022.
==Description==
Chain is a Right Spin BU Blade with an 8 bladed design incorporating the motifs of its namesake. As part of the Dynamite Battle Layer System, it can be used with the High and Low Modes of any Dynamite Battle Core, Armor and Disc.

Chain has 6 flexible plastic sections on its underside, which contributes to its gimmick: depending on the Core and Armor used, these plastic sections would be either fixed or free-moving, akin to Tact, by pressing down on hidden switches increasing defense potential. So far, only the rounder Kerbeus DB Core and 0 armor can avoid pressing these blades out, as most other armors and Cores (majority of which are polygonal) would press down on the switch. Of the 2 modes, the free moving mode is preferred, due to the fixed mode incurring higher recoil.

That said, Chain's stamina is rather subpar compared to other options such as Dynamite/Devil(with F Gear) and Vanish, though it somewhat excels at spin equalising and can hold its own against attack blades such as Guilty and Ultimate.
==Overall==
While it has an interesting gimmick, Chain's subpar stamina and only somewhat above average defense makes it somewhat outclassed. That said, Chain can work as a suitable substitute for instances where better options such as Dynamite/Devil+F and Prominence are unavailable.

As such, Chain is not a must have but is a worthy addition to a blader's collection
