Format: The format for this event is TEAM 3V3. Please read the RULEBOOK prior to confirming your attendance to ensure that you or your child have the appropriate equipment to compete. Legal parts / launchers will not be lent out by event staff.
Rules Overview:
Location: This event will be held indoors at Nightwing's Gaming Loft, located at 7898 Cryden Way, Forestville, Maryland 20747.
Time: As the tournament will start promptly at 11:00am, please plan to arrive around 10:00am when registration will begin. Registration will close at 10:45am. Confirming your attendance on the WBO event page does not substitute for registration at the venue.
If you know in advance that you will be late, please post in this thread or contact someone at the event and depending on the circumstances we can perhaps still include you if we know you will arrive soon.
Participants: There will be a cap of 36 participants (12 teams); but feel free to still show up even if the limit is reached, there are always folks not showing up the day of.
Prizes: Will be given to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Place players after the finals have been completed.
COVID-19 Precautions READ THIS BEFORE CONFIRMING YOUR ATTENDANCE:
This event will cooperate with Montgomery County Reopening Guidelines, as well as the WBO Covid-19 Guidelines effective from last year.

Rules Overview:
- Bladers form teams of three (no more, no less), with each team designating a captain that is responsible for informing judges of the team’s decisions in secret.
- Before each match, the team has 2 minutes to determine the order in which they will play their sets, which is communicated to the judge by the team captain. Once both teams have done so, the judge announces the first set’s pairing and the match begins.
- Sets are best-of-5 as usual, but individual match wins must be recorded. After all three sets are played, the team with the most cumulative battles won wins the match.
- In the event of a tie, each team will select one blader to represent it in a tiebreaker match, which is told to the judge by the team captain.
