This is your last chance to qualify for the Nightwing Invitationals so come prepared for some tough competition.
Format: The format for this event is Nightwing's Blader's Kingdom. Please read the
Blader's Kingdom Rulebook prior to confirming your attendance to ensure that you or your child have the appropriate equipment to compete. Legal parts / launchers will not be lent out by event staff.
Rules Overview:- You will need five (5) official beyblades with non-repeating parts.
- You will receive coins to wager on your duels.
- You must accept a challenge from a blader you have not faced before.
- You will flip a coin to see which blader chooses the stadium.
- The first blader to score five (5) points is the winner.
Location: This event will be held indoors at Nightwing's Gaming Loft, located at 7898 Cryden Way, Forestville, Maryland 20747.
Time: As the tournament will start promptly at
11:00am, please plan to arrive around
10:00am when registration will begin. Registration will close at
10:45am. Confirming your attendance on the WBO event page does not substitute for registration at the venue. [/font]
This format is a mix of timed free play and a standard double elimination bracket for the top eight bladers. The open rounds (free play) for this event will be two (2) hours long. Once those two hours are up we will move to the double elimination bracket that will consist of only the eight bladers with the most coins at the end of the open rounds. The double elimination portion usually lasts another two (2) hours. If you have any questions about this format, feel free to ask below and I'll help you out.
If you know in advance that you will be late, please post in this thread or contact someone at the event and depending on the circumstances we can perhaps still include you if we know you will arrive soon.
Participants: There will be a cap of 32 participants; but feel free to still show up even if the limit is reached, there are always folks not showing up the day of.
Prizes: Will be given to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Place players after the finals have been completed.

Very much appreciated! The other tournaments have been so much fun so this one needs to be even better since it has a few extra twists to make the next one, The Invitationals, a hit.

No that’s right, folks should plan to arrive early so they can get familiar with the rules and stadiums being played in. There are currently four gaming systems set up folks can use before the tournament starts so it shouldn’t be such a drag hanging out lol.
Much appreciated, this is the 8th installment of the season and it’s going to be a fun one for sure!

The invites are given to the top three each time. Now, if the top three already have invites from a previous performance then a runners up invite is given to the 4th place blader; goes down the line if all three top bladers have invites.
Also, if a top blader has obtained multiple invites then they can give them to other bladers they believe should be done n the invitationals. You must have your physical invite to be accepted into the invitationals.
The invitationals will most likely not be posted on the WBO site since it is invite only.
These tournaments are truly made in heaven
Gonna try my darndest to be there. My parents just brought up how we're going to our grandmother's cabin for a couple days of manual labor this weekend (of course they bring it up the day after I sign up). So there's a slight chance I'll be late, but I should be able to make it with time to spare if I get going by 8 that morning.

I don't think an invitational invite would pass down to folks who didn't make it to the top 8.
