Awesome! Thanks for making the effort to come from so far away.

There likely won't be any breaks until the conclusion of the First Stage; we'll probably have a 30-60 minute break at that point. Given how many people may be playing in this event, we don't want to encourage people to wander during the First Stage as it may make it harder for us to find people and then force us to give match losses if we can't find them to keep the event moving.

You'll certainly have at least a few minutes between your matches and can go for a bathroom break if you let us know, but the time between your matches won't always be consistent as sometimes you might play at the end of a round whereas other times you may be playing at the start of a round.

I would plan to be at the tournament for the full afternoon and then into the early evening if you make the finals.

You can take as many beys as you want with you but when battling you can only use one
Hi Kei; thanks for hosting.

My question is: 1 on 1 Type tournaments' finals will be in Deck Match Type. In the rules, it says, for Deck Match Type, 1 to 3 completed Beyblades will be used. Does that mean I can use 1, 2 or 3 Beyblades in a deck? Or should I use 3 different, completed Beyblades? Thank you for the clarification.

Yes you can use up to three combos with different parts but it's recommended to use three so you can have a wider variety if beys to use in a battle
I understand. Thank you very much.

Do you mean official Beyblade products? If so, yes, you have to use Beyblades produced by Hasbro or Takara-Tomy from the Beyblade Burst series.

We always have zero tolerance for cheating. That's what the rules and guidelines Minion referenced are for.

I'd love to see you again! Hope you can make it.

Does this include pressuring and influencing judges? I’ve seen that at events before. And it should be addressed in the rules TBH.

Cause man do I have stories.

Edit to add: I need to know there is a zero tolerance for this. Since this has been a problem in the past at Anime North multiple times.

It does. The rulebooks will be followed. For instance, these sections that exist in the rulebooks may be relevant to what you're talking about:

All Rulebooks  – Battle Results Wrote:Both bladers and all spectators must also refrain from influencing the judge’s decision by announcing their own opinion before the judge has rendered theirs.

All Rulebooks – Tournament Code of Conduct Wrote:It’s expected that all bladers attending WBO tournaments follow the rules, display good sportsmanship, and act with integrity.

...

Bladers who break or attempt to circumvent any of these rules can be disqualified by the event host, and potentially banned from future WBO events.

Finally, the "If you disagree with a judge’s decision ..." section in each rulebook is also relevant. Players are entitled to dispute calls, but must accept the final call of the judge. The judge has a responsibility to listen to the disputes and we trust judges to remain impartial when evaluating how to respond to such disputes. In most cases, it means asking another judge or the head judge for an additional opinion.

Our Judge's Guide also outlines the expectations for judges in terms of responsibilities, expectation of neutrality, and more.

If you have anything you'd like to report at any time during the event, I encourage you to let a judge or myself know.

As for any past issues, please feel free to contact myself or a staff member if you feel there is anything we should have looked at. Our policy is that any issue must be submitted within 7 days of the tournament in question to be able to be acted upon in terms of match results, but regardless, we certainly want to be made aware of any issues you feel occurred.

We are also open to any suggestions for additions to the rulebook. Please feel free to post those in Discuss worldbeyblade.org.

Thank you and hope to see you there!
Can you make like a combo and take it

Do you mean bring your own Beyblade combos to use in the tournament? If so, yes you can!
DO we need to pay before the event or when we get there we can pay?

I believe you need to purchase the tickets through the link before

You can purchase admission at the Registration Desk for the convention, but I would suggest buying online if you can to speed up the process of getting your badge when you get there.

You can learn more here: https://www.animenorth.com/event/index.p...-admission

Based on video evidence and it happening to me and people I know. And I’ve seen judge manipulation at these events. But I don’t want to shame anyone at the very top, not yet at least

No, I mean you're based = I wholeheartedly agree, I have seen the exact same things. In two events.

You absolutely should report any incidents when you see them happen. We do have a policy that limits what we can do if the incident happened more than 7 days ago when it comes to match results as I mentioned before, but we can certainly still review any reports for past issues and decide if other action should be taken.

I'd encourage you to contact staff if you have anything you'd like to report. If you have any other concerns about judging in general, please let us know or post them in the Discuss worldbeyblade.org forum.

As for this event, as I mentioned before we will be following all WBO rules.

(Jun. 11, 2022  5:11 PM)Abellia Wrote: [ -> ]No, I mean you're based = I wholeheartedly agree, I have seen the exact same things. In two events.

I'd also encourage you to please report any incidents you feel rules were broken as soon as possible to staff. WBO Staff are unable to observe everything that happens at all of our events, so it's up to participants like yourself to report any issues when you see them so that we can be made aware and assess if any action should be taken. Thank you!
