So there isn't a L-gear testing/discussion thread, which is where i was gonna post this. then i was gonna make one, but i dont have a standard stadium. but anyways, can the L gear be competitive? I mean, its only real restriction is that its high mode only, but with like wheel or smth that can be fixed, or the gap can be closed by the F-gear.I was thinking smth like:

Dynamite BelialII/Valkyrie L-gear F-gear+Wheel/F-gear+giga/F-gear+Over Destroy'/Xtend+(any mode)/High Xtend+'(stamina)

Dangerous BelialII/Valkyrie L-gear F-gear+Wheel/F-gear+giga/F-gear+Over Destroy'/Hold'/Xtreme'

i would have tried these and definitely made them much less wordy, but i dont have wheel, Xtend+, or Xtreme', and my F-gear broke lol. But ig tldr, i was wondering if there was any way L-gear could be good, cuz it has a lot of potential, thoguh high mode holds it down.

Also i have no idea if you can put the F-gear on beys with normal discs, so imma exclude it in wheel combos lol. I was thinking smth like:

Yes, you can use both L Gear and F Gear with normal discs. I've done it on both Dynamite and Dangerous with no fitment issues.

Th!nk has a combo that can work with L-Gear but if we are talking overall competitive then it's alright but a bit niche for use, generally you only use L-Gear for opp spin matchups since same spin you aren't going to win because L-Gear has low stamina.

for the Dynamite combo ideally it would be with Xt+, Zn'+Z(maybe?) or possibly Never, I don't know how well Bearing' works but hope this helps.
Dynamite on Wheel Xtend+ (LF) is pretty solid in both same and opposite spin, but other than that I probably wouldn’t use it. Bearing’, Zone’+Z, Drift, and Never all work best with DB disks (Giga, Over, Tapered), so it really comes down to the parts you own and the format you’re playing when determining its viability.
You can use both L Gear and F Gear with normal discs.
spades online
BBGs:High Mode is solely for accessibility.
(Unfortunately My nearby shop has guilty but no Dynamite, only Dangerous and Dangerous is locked in expensive set)
Shoutout to a friend and user on here named BDM, but he showed me a pretty surprising combo of Devil+F+L Phoenix (or any right core with good teeth) Wheel Never.
It has surprisingly good equalization capabilities against opposite spin as well as decent same spin stamina and can win some matchups...
