Greatest Pendulum sounds like something rashad would use as a special move and plus next ep is valkyrie evo so im guessing valkyrie might break here

Why do I feel like its gonna be like Hyper Shield Crash? (Goes to tornado ridge, then drops down) P.s. I feel Live and Learn would so fit in Valt vs Rashad

Wow, what an episode.

How did you beat Zankye's review vid to it???

Holy HELL that was a good one, Savior manages to Burst Raphael, at the cost of breaking which is something of a good thing since it wasn't all for nothing. The visuals look like they belong to the finale, and the action was sick!

Rashad: I win in a meaningless battle, you broke your Valkryie, is this your Beyblade style?

I did actually decide to watch this episode this time, after so long, since I figured something would happen here. My review.

It wasn't bad actually. The biggest complaint I had with Rashad breaking Bell's Belial is that the battle never felt intense enough to justify it's breakage, Belial was hit very few times and they never felt like particularly harsh attacks. This episode however, did make Valkyrie's breakage much more believable, since Raphael was smacking Valkyrie around, smashing it against the walls repeatedly, the battle just felt more intense, there were a lot of hits, and that Greatest Pierce special move, which is new to this episode, forms a glowing "drill" on top of his bey, which rams into Valkyrie and breaks it. Not to mention Valkyrie didn't have tons of gears around it so it made even more sense.
I do like that Bell tried to stand up for Valt, not even in a sore loser kind of way, but in a way where a friend tried to stand up to another. This one did showcase Bell's character growth without trying to be too obvious about it, so it lets us appreciate the change even when it isn't the focus.
Valt actually reacts to his break this time. Even Basara seemed concerned over Rashad acting this way to the breakage. Valt never seemed that concerned when Winning Valkyrie broke during Chouzetsu, while here, he's clearly distraught from it, and it does make Valt's screen time more interesting, which is important since he has more focus here. Also, Shu returns here. We all saw it coming, I doubt they'd forget Shu that easily (and no, GT doesn't count since he wasn't there, period), so that's pretty cool.

Interesting that Valt lost because of being unable to battle and not because of points. I don't think there was ever a precedent for this in the anime, usually beys only break when the battle's already over.

I'd be lying if I said I was happy to see Savior breaking. I'm not. But at the very least they handled this better than prior breaks. And honestly I'm glad they went with the double burst. Goes to show that if Savior wasn't damaged Rashad most likely would have taken the L. Looking forward to seeing Ultimate. The preview for next episode looks great. Valt vs Shu in a total 1v1. Been awhile. I'm really looking forward to that, and it seems Valt is getting a new launch form

episode review
Spoiler (Click to View)
so the episode starts out by continuing their battle and oh boy I'm gonna tell you this is some intense battle we got since a while now. from the battle choreography to the animation itself this battle really is one of db finest. Rashad giving us 2 new moves that is greatest Pendulum which is the move that smack valkyrie multiple times to the wall and greatest spear/pierce(?) which dealt the final blow to the battle breaking valkyrie into pieces. the reaction that follows up to this doesn't disappoint where rashad being frustrated saying that if valkyrie just not damaged valt would've won and the line doesn't end there folks rashad then continues by saying that valkyrie was destroyed by valt own hand and he ask to valt is "this really your beyblade" which made valt who is previously doesn't really care about this breakage realize that this is all him to blame and i think he might reevaluate his blading motives.
the episodes then continues by bell and ranzo having a little argument in which from my understanding bell becomes a bit arrogant by saying that if he fight rashad he could've prevent valkyrie from breaking and actually won and bell i think says that he could care less about valkyrie which then ends up by the two of them separating. we then cuts off to valt reevaluating himself in his old school and then shu comes and gives valt a little pep talk which then ended up with valt making a decision to evolve valkyrie. going back to bell we see him resonating with belial which i think belial told bell that he must've known the feeling at having his bey broken like and telling bell that this is the chance to redeem himself which then makes bell motivated to help valt. the episode then ends with bell taking valt offer to help him make a new valkyrie.
this episode is overall a really good episode probably by far one of the best you can actually fell the intensity and the sense of scale that this battle has making it probably the best battle this season can offer you and also the characters in this episode such as bell rashad valt ranzo and shu shines through like you can actually feel the emotions that valt is taking from rashad words. animation wise the battle is more geared towards cgi stuff rather than the 2D but the 2D stuff is still really strong now onto the art this episode is really inconsistent with the art like there's a scene where the character look totally off model and shrunk but for the most part the art is pretty good. overall tho really solid episode and this episode is a must watch in db

Really happy with how this episode turned out. It was obvious that savior would break but at least it didn't go without putting up a fight. Rashad probably has the record now for most special moves used for a single bey In Burst. Who else thought of Ranzo's hair after Rashad unleashed his new special move, Greatest Spear I think what it was. Kinda weird that an angel beyblade is going around breaking beys. You could see the frustration in Valt's face after the match. He probably realized that he pushed Valkyrie way too hard and thus got his bey broken. Rashad felt the same way too. He was sad and angry at Valt because he still looks up to him and Valt's battling style is bad. (Not my words, it's his) Bell was obviously very worried for Valt and wanted to get revenge for him but the referee called it a match.
Like I said Valt needed Shu the most at a time like this and he sure enough came back. I was so happy to see Valt and Shu talking in the most historical place in Burst, The Beigoma Academy
Now I wanted to talk more about next week's preview because there's a lot going on in that short 25 second preview. We finally get a Valt vs Shu 1v1. Man it's been so long, I think the last time we got a 1v1 with them was back in Evolution. The sparking one doesn't count Because that whole battle was all about sheer power which was also cool in its own rights. But this time, we're getting an actual battle with strategy and all that stuff. I hope it's not like boom boom boom and Ultimate Valkyrie wins within 1 minute for it's debut match. I still want Shu to have the 3rd overdrive bey. Anyways that little preview is basically telling us to get ready for a lot of nostalgia. Rashad also looks happy for some reason and here's my take on it. The battle between Valt and Shu was broadcasted and Rashad saw it and it made him so happy that Valt is back on track and battling it out like he should be. He's just glad to see Valt stand up again.
Rashad still doesn't seem like a full villain at all to me and you get it why. It could have been that Rashad was trying to help Valt snap out of it by breaking his bey. It could've been so many different things. You could clearly see that there was no joy in his face even after he won. Nevertheless, a pretty good episode. I wanted to see the reaction on Bell's face when he saw shu again because last time Shu left an impression in Bell's heart. But we'll probably get that next week.
Oh and I almost forgot to mention that after a millennium we're finally getting a new launch form of Valt. I hope it's a combination of all of his previous launch forms. Nevertheless Beyblade Burst is blessing us with a hype episode next week after such an devastating ending with this one.

Another point to consider is Rashad realizes he would have lost had Valtryek not been damaged; both beys actually burst. So he isn't satisfied that the only reason he won the match is because Valt couldn't continue battling.
Also Rashad wasn't trying to break Valtryek. He acutally wishes Valt battled him with Valtryek undamaged.

I'll just leave Rashad's actual dialogue to build up on your point.
" This is not the Victory I wanted"
"You are responsible for the breaking of Valkyrie "
"Is this your way of beyblade?!"
I have to agree with Rashad here. Valt pushed Valkyrie despite knowing that Valkryie was damaged. I think that those words really reminded Valt of what he had done i.e neglected his bey in order to win against Rashad. That is the reason why Valt was so distraught with his loss. ( unlike when he battled Aiga)

If this is what Rashad actually said then I’m completely on Rashads side on this one I’m a huge Valt fan but what Valt did was all on him he should know of all people what happens when you push a bey way to hard even Rashad was questioning as to why he was battling with a damaged Valkyrie I’m glad he’s getting some comfort zone with Shu and the others I was also confused as to why he was so surprised when his bey broke he can sense Valkyrie running low on it’s last legs so I don’t know what he expected honestly but nevertheless I loved this episode 9/10

It was a good episode, I like how the handle savior break and if it wasnt for that Valt wouldve most likely won, it kind of reminds of the nationl from s1 Where spriggan broke against longinus if it wasnt for that crack lui woud've lost. Its really a good way to keep two strong bladers strong. Shu cameback to give Valt that boost speech glad it was him to do it. Plus we get Valt vs shu a legit 1 vs 1 no outsiders this should be great they never disapoints plus it also gives shu a legit match. Plus the one to revive Valt winning spirit thats great.

I was rewatching the episode, and I noticed something. At the end of Rashad's tirade against Valt ( when he says "Is this your way of beyblade?!"), I noticed that the voice actor has portrayed the emotion of Rashad very subtly. From the dialogue I shared above as well as listening to his words carefully, I noticed that Rashad's tone in the last statement is that of hurt and disappointment in his Idol.
I just noticed this cool thing, and I decided to share it.

Agreed. VAs are top notch. But still I cannot figure out if Rashad is voiced by THE DAISUKE ONO because Daisuki Ono is not listed anywhere. Or is it Daisuke Ono? Can someone confirm?
