Myth is a Layer Base released by Hasbro as part of the Burst System as well as the HyperSphere System. It debuted in western countries with the release of the HyperSphere Starter Pack Myth Odax O5 1' Destroyer-H.
==Description==
Myth is an Attack Type Energy Layer that’s thick and angular in shape. Its design consists of a colored blade molded into the shape of a sword on either side, matching the weapon the Layer’s spirit wields; a large sword, two blades on either side that are made of both clear and colored plastic that run behind the sword-like blades, and two orb-like designs on either side that are also made of clear plastic and have a small protrusion on them.

Unlike its Takara Tomy Counterpart Knockout, Myth has no metal on it. However, compared to most other layer bases, it isn't as hollowed out. As such, Myth can hit as hard as its Dual Layer predecessor Odax O2, but still has equal mediocre performance, even on chips with tight slopes such as Achilles A5 and Valtryek V5.
==Overall==
While Myth's overall plastic design and many similarities to its predecessor may make it instantly outclassed, the weakening of other top layer bases such as Judgement raise its standings slightly, allowing it to perform ok in a Hasbro-only format. While SwitchStrike layers such as Legend Spryzen S3 and Lunior L3 are preferred, the similar weight of most post Switchstrike layers, Myth included, allows them to be useful in the event that Switchstrike Layer are unavailable.

As such, Myth is  is not a must have but is instead a welcome addition to any blader's collection.

Notes for comments to answer:
1. Is Myth a good non-Switchstrike Layer Base?
2.Name some good combinatiosn with Myth.
