Shot (ショット, Shotto) is a Performance Tip released by Takara Tomy as part of the Burst System as well as the Dynamite Battle Layer System. It debuted in Japan with the release of the B-187 Booster Savior Valkyrie Shot-7 on July 17th, 2021.
==Description==
Shot is a wide driver, akin to Hybrid, Ignition' and Generate. Like the aforementioned driver, the disc is integrated into the driver, and there is a small protrusion to fit a Dynamite Battle Layer's Low Mode. It features a sharp tip, like Survive, that is hidden by a Zephyr-esque long hole flat when the gimmick activates, causing it to jump and get taller.

In theory, when a Shot combination is launched hard enough, it will jump mid battle and enhance attacks. While the gimmick is more consistent than Reboot and Ultimate Reboot, the increased height makes it very unstable and easily destabilised. While its round shape provides some Life-After-Death potential and the destabilisation issue can be avoided by weak launching it, it is not recommended due to Shot not having a lot of stamina and burst resistance, which may result in the spin equalisation combination being outspun or burst.
==Use in Attack combinations==
Shot can be used in the niche Attack Combination Guilty Bahamut/Fafnir Shot-10/0(Low Mode0. Shot's poor burst resistance is bolstered by Bahamut's rubber lock/Fafnir's teeth and the 10/0 Armor piece balances out any destabilistion issues Guilty's metal heavy design may bring, with Low Mode helping conserve its rather poor stamina. However, this combo is overreliant on getting hard hits early on in battle, making it easily outspun.
==Overall==
While Shot has a working gimmick, its easily destabilisable nature makes it hard to use effectively, making it outclassed by Xtreme' and Evolution', with the latter having equal LAD potential and speed while having better burst resistance.

As such, Shot is meant for collection purposes only.
