Can’t watch it but maybe it could kinda go back to legends being legends instead of valt shu free and lui as jokes

Again, I don't understand why they feel the need to have Bell fight Lui. First things first, it's worth noting that Bell has created the L gear a little bit too early, Lui has just made his first couple of appearances in the arc and he is already going to fight the upgraded Belial in his second major fight... Like, he just got here. Second, I am really disliking this tournament setting simply because it feels like Bell is the only person who has any major impact on the story. I don't mind legendary bladers losing, but it is mainly the fact that they happen to only be losing to Bell. Ranzo, Basara and Rashad have next to no actual involvement in any major battles and the bladers that do actually get to participate in major battles exist only to advertise Belial's gears. DB is really starting to sink in my opinion.

True I mean burst after cho z went in a downward spiral
And after Cho z I would say it went full cash cow

I have to agree, Ranzo, Basara and Rashad haven't really done anything noteworthy aside from spectating. There was that battle royale in Episode 22 but they all pretty much got clapped by Ilya (Except for Basara who was caught in the crossfire between Valkyrie and Belial).
I'm gonna give it some more time before i call DB a failure (if i even do at all..) but so far, nothing really too interesting has happened in the previous episodes. If anything, the Dynamite Battle Tour does not even feel like a tournament.. it is just random battles in random locations (First in Spain, then at Beigoma Academy and now at Onigashima (The Island Of Demons), You just cant even call it a tournament.

Honestly yeah DB is going on a downward spiral and This arc in particular is what makes it bad.
As ive said this arc has a lot of negative if it weren't for the battle royal I probably won't be seeing this arc for a while

Battle
This arc really sucks in the battle like there's only 2 battle that i can say good or not bad that is the battle royal and lui vs ilya the rest are just bad or below average in terms of pacing or choreography take free vs bell in ep 21 that battle had a very bad scenario built into it making the battle feels like an ad rather than a battle sure this has been a trend since season 2 but before this it wasn't as apparent as this.
The Evo Gears
This arc is literally the embodiment of an ad for the evo gear (up until S-gear) I don't need to say much but having bell getting these to upgrade his bey in a short amount of time is stupid and there's seems to be no downside at all at using the gears right after the V-gear(even this gear downside got forgotten).
The cast
So far the only one contributing much on this arc is just bell maybe a little bit of ilya. Rashad, Ranzo, Basara got real shafted everything they do in this arc is just forgettable or they just do nothing.

I would be very disappointed if Lui actually loses to bell just for the advertisement of the L gear on Belial. Think about it, what is the point of letting Bell win against Lui if Belial is just going to get wrecked 2 episodes later. Might as well give Lui the W.

Well, didn’t Bell still lose to Free even with the F Gear?

No, Free beat him. Bell beat Free when he had 3 gears.

Episode Review (long time huh)
Overall thoughts about this arc; It was average but we do get to know a lot about Rashad and Illya and their friendship. Rashad is stated to be a very proud and direct person as per the last episode's subbed version, he has a lot of confidence in Valkryie and feels that he is unbeatable with it. Perhaps this pride is what causes him to become an antagonist.
One major problem with this arc was that there really wasnt an antagonist to actively root against or for. There was no sort of competition for beating the legends which was a bit disappointing.

This was a nice episode. I was expecting Bell to win in the first round itself; but it surprised me that they decided to take the route of Valt vs Free in Cho-Z where Valt only won in the final round after loosing to free in like 100 battles. This was more of a training episode with Lui than a challenge episode which is honestly not that bad.
Was this episode needed? I would say yes. Lui had promised Bell a rematch when he lost and was always eager to battle him as seen in the Battle Royale episode ( at least it wasnt like Free and Lean)
The scenes with Lui were more intense than I expected and were a welcome breather. I like how Lui doesnt act like Free when he lost and wants to actively get better( free really disappointed me with his attitude to his loss).

I wonder why did Rashad and Bell start battle in next episode.

I love how well they did with the animation in this episode. Other than the animation, the plot of this episode shows that just how strong Lui has become after upgrading his longinus. I'm surprised that Bell could beat Valt with 2 gears, Free with 3 gears but couldn't beat lui with 4 gears so easily. The most important thing in this episode was Lui's revenge and I'm glad that he got his revenge big time. Bell definitely got a lot stronger by battling with Lui several times and Rashad is probably going to get destroyed the next episode. The saddest thing is that this is probably the last time we're gonna see Lui this season but it was great while it lasted. This episode is definitely worth a watch.

If I'm honest, I feel like they could've done something different here. And by that I mean, Bell wins in the first round through an Over Finish, but the second round will be a very tight battle between the two, with Lui winning in the end. Soon, when Perfect Belial gets inevitably destroyed by this season's antagonist, Lui and another Legend witness his defeat and offer to help him with his revenge against the villain, creating Dangerous Belial in the process with their support, that's how I believe it should've went down. Anyways, on a technical level, this was a good episode nonetheless.

Oh my god yes I thought this episode was going to be another dumpster episode where bell just beat lui in one round and i so glad it didn't happen.
Highlights in this episode
•Lui, this episode just speaks why he is a fan favorite he has a real and actual personality he doesn't care if he loses he just wants a good battle with his opponent the old would probably just admit defeat and go out and I just found this development really nice.
•The battle, the battle in this episode is really good lui didn't lose in 2 hits thank god where he actually won most of his battle and this battle overall just feels like a training for bell to wield perfect Belial
Bell gaining the gold turbo or dynamite turbo or whatever the hell it is called doesnt feel to out of the place but it's still weird they definitely need to explain this overall this episode is worth watching

Lui definitely has one of the best if not the best character development in the entire burst series. Going from being a bully and cocky blader to an actual mature and caring blader is just awesome. Unlike most other characters, he "actually" enjoys blading and doesn't care or cry if he loses as long as it's an entertaining battle for him. That's what beyblading is all about afterall. Hope to see more of Lui in the upcoming seasons.

I honestly used to hate Lui but after hearing what Cath said and seeing this episode I actually respect him as a really good Blader, though Lui doesn't like admitting it he thinks of Valt and Shu as friends as shown in the last couple episodes of Sparking. It's shown that Valt and Shu are some of the few people who can actually understand him because of the history they've had together. So, summing all up Lui is an amazing character with amazing development for the episode, it was really amazing, I'll give a review later.

This episode imo redeems DB right now. The battle was pretty intense and i really love that the Belial that comes in the all in one set is now anime canon. Really excited for the next episode which seems to focus on Bell, Rashad and Basara from the look of the trailer. actually makes me wonder if Basara will become corrupted and his new Bahamut will change color too. i can actually see it happening.
Belial turning gold and defeating Longinus is probably my top 3 moments in DB so far

*Longinus hits Belial's layer, somehow causing the S Gear to Spin*
Valt: The S Gear deflected Longinus's attack
Me: *Looking at the height difference* Stop the cap lol.

I sorta rewatched the thing, and I must admit, I probably didn't need to add my own changes to it (I'm an idiot lol, but this is probably just because I didn't watch the whole episode itself). It's a good return to form for DB, and it shows that Lui is still a powerful Blader and the fact that Bell actually struggled to beat Lui so he has to actually utilize his other gears. Overall, it's pretty good, 8.8/10.
