So unfortunately Maryland is very unpredictable with the weather. Just the other day where I am was suppose to get a severe thunderstorm, and then we had about a 1/2 hour or rain and that was it. So I feel like it’s best to play it by ear and see what the skys are looking like come about 11:30-12 and then I can make a better judgement on weather or not to cancel.

EDIT: As to the weather question, if it's a local tournament, you might as well go. But if you're driving 4 hours... hey... no. Just skip it. That's too far to drive anyway, in general, but if there's a slight chance of weather cancelation, just don't go.

Your son needs their own account name, otherwise they'll have to use yours. And you're not actually allowed to share accounts like that. Have them register an account name and then register for this tournament with that name. You're more than welcome to participate yourself, provided you don't use a username that has the word murder in it.
Can we get an update on whether or not this tournament is going to be postponed tonight? Looks like a pretty high chance of rain / thunderstorms all day.
After looking at the forecasts and constantly watching them for the past couple of hours I’ve decided to postpone the event until the 22nd of august, as that will be my next available date from work that I can host. I’m deeply sorry for any inconvenience this has on anyone.

You might want to edit the tournament details to add (Weather Rescheduled) to it. Just for the non-readers.
There's always going to be that small fraction of people who don't read tournament threads the day of to check for this sort of thing, and I cannot stress this enough: that is not your responsibility or your fault, they did it to themselves. It will be demoralizing for them and it may be demoralizing for you, but you cannot stress out over people who do not read the tournament thread details the morning of the tournament, and show up even though the date got moved. You even postponed this last night, so it's not as if this was a last minute thing.

Bruh I have been checking tournaments everyday how did this tournament pop up on July 14 but it didn’t pop up as a recently made tournament.

This tournament was for today. But because of the weather it has been postponed until the 22nd.
