The best at a certain category may not necessarily be the best at all, or even usable in the current meta. I'd honestly hazard a simple guess of either Drain Fafnir or Spriggan Requiem, as their shapes are ultimately better for it than even modern Fafnirs and their low weight gives them more power for their contact back, but they're just way too small to try and survive against a far heavier DB or Sparking foe with even a hint of aggression or a same-spin fight.
For a balance of survivability and equalization Vanish Fafnir has proven that it's not slacking in either department, though its Kick driver seems unimpressive and the combo ultimately needs something better to really succeed.
