"In the Middle East, Ginga and Co. encounter the local representative team, Desert Thunder and become friends with them. The group goes to support the Middle East representatives' first match, but the opposing European representative is only one person, a guy named Julius Caesar and he proposes an uneven 1 vs 3 match."

damn that name is soo familiar...
We have known that name for weeks now ... He is the one who owns Gravity Perseus.
oops! sorry!damn im slow with things...
So we will finally get to see the villian. I wonder what type of personality he has... Anyways, the way i see it, i think several clues are joining up of what this season morale is going to be about.
Damn, Caesar must be pretty damn confident to propose a 1 on 3...

I don't really care if his name is Julius Caesar, it's not that bad, I just hope he's not blonde, like I heard he is...Which would be just about the less scary thing ever...Other than Ryuuga's english voice, of course...
Ah, so Julius Caesar really is blond ...

I do not know if this is only an odd Northern Cross beyblade.

A lot of things from this episode are exactly like in the manga though, even the character design of the Euro team.

Does it have its own clear wheel? If so, there are still a good few upcoming untitled releases, possibility that this could be one of them.
No blond vilain in the history of vilains was ACTUALLY scary or menacing. This is terrible...He looks like a younger version of Goodwyn from Yu-Gi-Oh 5Ds...

In the first season, Ryuuga was shrouded in darkness too, but, at least, he wasn't dyed with black to the point that we thought his hair was black. I'm really disappointed. The only part of MFB Explosion I was looking foward to is gone...

Maybe he isn't the real villian after all.
Well...While that would be nice, he's pretty much in the exact way Ryuuga was in the first opening (save for the terribly confusing sadows) so he's 'probably' the real vilain...

I'm really surprised they kept all of mister Adachi's designs...
Im sorry. What i mean that hes probably not the villian, is that he is not really evil in nature like ryuuga was. Maybe he is more like of the type who is controlled by another person and acts more like a very powerful rival who sides with evil for other purpose/s than evil itself.
...Oh! Well, that would be interesting and fitting! Someone who doesn't look evil doesn't actually want to either dominate or destroy the world? Now that would be nice.

One problem: Why surround him in a dark aura in the opening, if he's not insanely evil? Just...show 'em, or something.
I'm sorry again. I think i didnt know how to explain myself at the time and I ended up confusing you and me. Anyways, here are the points i tried to support:

1. What i mean is he is not as a beast like ryuuga, he seems more controlled. Right he may be evil, but not like ryuuga who was Insanely Evil. In my opinion he looks more of a serious kind and indifferent of what he does.

2. The appearance wont tell much, until we see much more of him. Take as an example Brooklyn from g-rev, he was not even menacing by look, but he sure was a pain for the heroes, not to say he changed at his last fight with takao. Maybe Julius wont show a more intimidating side until later.

3. The opening... well, he appears there, yeh, but covering him in a light purple aura, almost lavander, not a very notable evil smirk, and yellow circular eyes which show no emotion, as the way i perceive it, he may not really be looking for evil, yeh, he may not be concious of that, and utilizes evil as its way.

As i said before, until then we see more about these character and the rest of the story to develop we will find out. All the above where my interpretations, dont really consider them as fact, but i think i could help. Thanks
Heres a picture of Gravity Perseus i managed to take from the ep preview. Not very good but it was what i could catch of it =/.
Seeing that Perseus' Special Spin Move in the manga is Black Excalibur, I wonder whether he'll use this in the anime.

We have had much better pictures of Gravity Perseus for at least one month ...
Okay, so, Julius, despite his terribly unscary (Probably not a real word...) hair, was a lot better than what I expected.

His voice, for one, was a big plus for him, but his attitude also helped: He's cold, sure of himself and seems to want to get the job done as fast and as well as he can so he can continue on his relenthless advance...

That's what I felt watching him, anyway Uncertain
There was a new trailer for the movie at the end, before the next-episode preview, also.
Apparently, it seems that the name of the European team is Excalibur.

Desert Thunder consists of Gasur(???), who owns Storm Northern Cross, Karte(???) and Zidane who each own Rock Crow/Raven???.

Ah, I knew I had heard "Excalibur".

Thank you for the names of the characters too.
Rock Crow ? - another bird based and another rock metal wheel beyblade. Aren't them too many ?
Is Desert Thunder a copy of Neo Borg?
They look like Yuriy, Sergei and Boris
Gasur, Karte and Zidane
3 in a group...
A leader...

Edit: Perseus uses Serpent !!! ........

Well, we're probably never gonna see hem, anyway, so it probably doesn't matter...Despite the fact that I don't see the connection between Neo Borg and Desert Thunder Uncertain
