Format
Underdog Uprising
Beginning on the Friday of December. 18 Underdog Uprising will include head-to-head matches between neighbouring regions and smaller regions fighting off their nearest big rivals. The teams will be made by the best pros voted by the supporters.
Matchups will be held between the LCK, PCS and OCE in addition to the LPL and VCS.
Superstar Showdown
The Superstar Showdown will be held between December 19 and 20. It will feature three "superteams" comprising the LCK, LCS and LEC. Each region will be hosting each region will host a Red Bull one-vs.-one tournament. The first round will be live streamed on December. 18, while the semi-finals and grand finals will be played on Dec. 19 and 20.
Who will take the ultimate decision?
Five of the top pros from LCK and LPL will take on a best of three showdown. These will not be the usual Summoner Rift matches and will be different.
In the LCS and LEC, the top vote getters will draft "dream teams" comprised of five players. In order to mix things up the captains will select at least two pros from every region. Teams will then match up against one another in the unique format of best-of-3.

A unique Red Bull 1v1 competition will also take place within each of the four major regions The first stage happening on the 18th of December, and the finals and semifinals on December 19 and 20.
In a campaign for voting called "All-Star Voting Powered by Alienware," fans will be able vote for one professional in each position from as many leagues as they want. The voting period runs from November 9 through 16.
The majority of games at the All-Stars this year will see prizes allocated to charities. The names of charities that the teams have decided to help will be announced in the weeks leading up to the game.
