This was our biggest event yet, and it went very smoothly and very quickly. Glad to see some new faces and names coming through and it was great to catch up with everyone from previous events. Thanks to everyone for driving out, and we hope to see you all for the next one! Big congrats to BladimationZ who placed in the top 3 in his 2nd tournament today! Amazing job man, we hope to see you in the finals again next time!

Congrats to hosting a very successful event but these combos are just sad to look at, no action at all.

Hey, there’s a Guilty in there though!
Honestly, I actually like equalization and stamina v stamina matchups, but that’s just me. I know it’s an unpopular opinion. With that being said, there is actually a lot of attack in our meta, and we have seen some pretty solid winning streaks from attack players in the last couple events. At this particular event there were even two people soloing guilty in the prelims. One of them was switching the Guilty combo up in every matchup, and even got a win with Guilty on High Wave’.

We are all just out here finding what works best for us though right? It’s all in good fun.

Right, you are free to host and play however you like. I run two events on saturday at 1pm and 4pm. 1pm is either x or bst and 4pm is a legacy format. This means I have to finish up the first event in 3 hours or less so I have to ban drifts for the sake of time and usually lend attack/defense combos to new players. Also, we typically play as the same time others are playing TCG games like one piece or yugioh on the other side of the room. And when they watch our stamina matches in bst they comment on how boring it seems and lose interest in trying beyblade. So I make these adjustments to encourage them to try it out.

You should see when I switch my HXt+’ to attack mode, then the real party starts.

Is bent Vanguard legal? That’s wild! Never been in a GT event, but I’ve been thinking about hosting one. Interesting to see bent Vanguard.
