Well if you want it to be WBO approved you have to read the rule books and the organiser guide then take the organiser quiz and send in an event proposal

Please! I've been waiting for a tournament in Virginia for ages
Ok but it will be in the summer for school and close to Maryland and Virginia
So whatever happened to the organizer for the richmond va area?
No clue
I'm willing to host in preferably Chesapeake or Virginia Beach. It would be after Christmas. Probably early January. If interested PM me or just let me know here.
How about Richmond? I'll be back at my home university in mid-January & would love to attend a tournament that isn't several hours' drive away  Tongue_out
If you wanna host in Richmond I'm willing to help but I have no connections for an indoor venue way out there.
What happened to One Eyed Jacques? I could make it depending on my work schedule.
I think Dark was the one with connections there, although my friend is the president of our board game club at UR and we have a partnership with OEJ, so I can see if he'd be willing to make something work.
If you have a spot in Richmond and we can get enough people together I'm down. I'm still gonna shoot for somethin down here as well.
I have a long standing history with OEJ, I know the owner, same goes for Collector's Heaven on Lakeside Ave - I can certainly ask about using space. I'd love to start having regular events in Richmond - I think the poll is also supportive of this as a viable location?!?
Im down for anything in Richmond granted not a big fan of Collector's Heaven mainly because I dont agree with the way he runs things.

Dope. Yeah we can definitely make somethin happen in Richmond. Could you get in contact with OEJ and see if Jan 6th or 13th would be a good day? That was when I was shooting for an event down here. Is this date good with everyone else or should we push for a later date?

That would be fantastic! I'll be in Richmond this winter/spring and next academic year and will certainly be a regular attendee if we can start hosting in the city :)

@[Kaboom!!!] I'm moving back in on the 14th, so maybe we could do the following weekend (the 20th) or the weekend after that?
The Supreme One I have actually have plans that weekend for a yugioh event in Richmond. haha After the 20th is fine by me. Gives me more time to get a Burst stadium if no one else has one.

I can bring my Burst stadium but having two or more would be great. Might be able to get a few friends involved if we do it later in the month too. How does the 27th sound? If you need a hand, we could cohost Smile
Yeah the 27th sounds good. I'll still shoot for a burst stadium before then. and yeah having a helping hand never hurts. It's been a little while I've hosted but I think it should be too hard. I'm all for it.

Amish Raven if you're able to get a hold of OEJ let us know what they say. Thanks.
Has anyone found other people interested or has anyone talked to OEJ?

Still me & at least one or two other friends. I haven't, thought you or @[AmishRaven] were going to?
I hope you all work something out for that date would love to get to an event in richmond.
Latest information today... I've talked to the local game stores - there are other events including a Magic the Gathering release... So they are out. But I've reached out to Deep Run Rec Park and talked to the coordinator today - she is going to get back to me.

Sorry I'm logged in as my son - this is AmishRaven.

Kind of figured, but you're awesome for trying. Hoping for the best with the rec park Smile
