High Park - Toronto, Ontario, Canada
11:00AM ONWARDS
——————————————————
Beyblade Burst Side Event - Rules explained below!
AND
Standard Burst Format (Ranked, Expected to start by 2:00PM!)

Location
We'll be playing in the shelter where we usually play. If you're coming to High Park via the Bloor St. W entrance, just follow that road down on the right side and you'll see the large building/shelter on the left hand side before you reach the tennis courts. If you have any questions about the location, please post here! This map has the area we'll be playing in roughly outlined:

Blader Passport or Entry Fee Required for Ranked Burst Format Event
To participate in the second event of the day–the Ranked Burst Format tournament at 2PM–you must purchase a Blader Passport for $20 CDN–which will grant you entry into all WBO events for an entire year, among other benefits–or alternatively, you can pay $6 CDN for a single tournament.

Unranked Beyblade Burst Side Event Information
The rules for this side event are super easy to learn. While the regular first to 3 wins, best out of 5 matches still applies, this event does have a small banlist:
  • Odin Layer
  • Deathscyther Layer
  • Dark Deathscyther Layer
    Photos viewable here!: http://imgur.com/a/nPCll

In addition to the currently banned Odin Layer, Dark Deathscyther and Deathscyther Layers will also be considered illegal for this side event. This ruling does not apply for the Ranked event afterwards. Though Credits, Faces and BeyPoints will not be awarded, we encourage you all to come out a bit earlier in the day to help us see what the game is like without the three Layers! To add, this side event is not connected with the previously discussed experimental ruleset.

    What is Beyblade Burst?
Beyblade Burst is the brand new, third generation of Beyblade by TAKARA-TOMY! It launched in 2015 in Japan and Hasbro is set to launch it in North America in 2016. If you are not familiar with Beyblade Burst, please take a look at the Beyblade Wiki article covering it, the Beyblade General Forum, and the Beyblade Burst Hasbro Topic for the most up to date information about Hasbro's release of the series internationally.

Don't have any Beyblades from this new series? No problem! It's likely that people will have some on hand for sale, and if not, we would be glad to lend one to you for the duration of the event!

    Spread the Word!
Are you as excited about the event as we are?! If so, be sure to tell your friends about it! And if you haven't already, follow us on Twitter and Instagram, and like us on Facebook for updates including photos and video from this event!

    Side Note
We'd advise users to please, please look after your stuff. While yes this is a Beyblade tournament and we're not suggesting that any of us would attempt to take each other's stuff it is still happening at a public venue where other people (who may not be so friendly) are going to be present as well. Of course, if you see a personal belonging lying around bring it up any of the judges so we can return it to the right person. Your co-operation is appreciated!

All questions for this tournament may be asked in this thread!

Think you can make it? Post here!
If you think you'll be able to make it out to SERIOUSLY TILTED, please post here and I will start building an attendance list! Please also specify which of the two events you'll be participating in if

Thirty-six dollars before or after shipping?

After shipping.
Oh, well Zillion Zeus costs a little bit more than 1000 yen since it is a Starter, and shipping, if it is EMS, has really become more expensive lately not to mention that the Japanese yen is a lot stronger than the Canadian dollar. It is definitely unreasonable to purchase one item alone, as at least buying multiple products simultaneously will split the shipping costs to each item and appear to be more affordable. I litterally ordered three packs of Beyblade stickers and they were offering me 2500 yen of EMS shipping hahah. Thankfully the seller ended up accomodating my Canadian situation, but otherwise the smartest idea would have been to pass up on these stickers or try to order more things so it made more sense to pay that much shipping.
Sorry guys, can't come to the tournament. Have fun! :')
Won't be able to come today guys, sorry about that!
Heading out now!

bye :3
Sry guys.cant make it. hv fun~

It was good to see you too!! ✨

I had so much fun today! I wasn't feeling very well so I'm sorry if I seemed frustrated at times - but hanging out with everyone cheered me up a lot Smile glad I continued my streak of doing really well in unranked tournaments! Hahah. See you all next week ❤️
Hey I'm glad the event went well, but could we see the winning combos? With the discussion on the legality of Deathscyther it would be interesting to see the results for your event with DS D2 and O banned.

It was great seeing you again too!! I'm so excited for next weekend.

This event was tons of fun. The weather was perfect for us, and the tournament ran very smoothly.
I'm a little sad about my losing record (3-5) but I liked experimenting with some new combos, and I had such an awesome match against @[JesseObre] that really tested my improving shot strength against his.

Jesse's finals win with V2 Knuckle Trans (I believe?) was INCREDIBLE
Didn't do so well yesterday and had a frustrating time with my Light Launchers, but it was fun as always! Looking forward to seeing Mitsu's post about the experimental event; he recorded the match-ups for every BeyBattle in the tournament.

Stay tuned for a Beyblade Channel video from the main tournament some time as well!
