Saturday, July 23rd, 11:00am
High Park - Toronto, Ontario, Canada
Plastics & Burst Format

Let's take the day to remember the good old days when the plastic beyblades dominated the world! The PLASTIC'S NOT DEAD! 3 event will start at around 11:00 a.m. and we should be moving on to Beyblade Go Burst at about 2:00 p.m. This time frame includes a lunch break in between the tourneys.

No Beys? No Problem!

People at the tournament will be lending out parts and launchers to people without them, so there is nothing to worry about if you don't have the equipment or tops to participate in the tournament (more directed at the plastics tournament, but this is also applicable to the burst tourney!).

Location
High Park

We'll be playing in the shelter where we usually play. If you're coming to High Park via the Bloor St W entrance, just follow that road down on the right side and you'll see the large building/shelter on the left hand side before you reach the tennis courts. If you have any questions about the location, please post here! This map has the area we'll be playing in roughly outlined:

Entry Fee
Tournament entry will cost six dollars a person, although if twenty dollars is payed, a Blader Passport would be yours, along with a cool Passport Face online! Most importantly, though, free tournaments until your passport expires the following year. How cool is that?

Side Note
We'd advise users to please, please look after your stuff. While yes this is a Beyblade tournament and we're not suggesting that any of us would attempt to take each other's stuff, but, it is still happening at a public venue where other people (who may not be so friendly) are going to be present as well. Of course, if you see a personal belonging lying around bring it up to any of the judges so we can return it to the right person. Your co-operation is appreciated!

There will be a lunch break in between the two tourneys.

Tournaments of the HMS or Plastic format!

No celebration would be complete without our members and their communities across the globe coming together to play Beyblade and pay homage the series that started it all. What's more, all participants of PLASTIC'S NOT DEAD! 3 will receive 1 extra Credit just for the occasion! That means you can get two Credits just for entering the tournament, which gets you at least one Face Booster or more in the Blader Rewards campaign!

Post here if you know or think you will make it to this tournament, also feel free to ask any questions you might have about this tournament! See you there!

Another crazy hot, long day! Here are the rather interesting results!

PLASTIC'S NOT DEAD! 3:
1st: Kei
2nd: ICEICE
3rd: Mitsu

BEYBLADE GO BURST:
1st: Kei
2nd: ICEICE
3rd: Mitsu

To say the very least about my placing in Plastics: I probably wouldn't have done it without the help of Kei and Hato (who had came super close to topping, too!).

It was super crazy to see that ICEICE, Kei and myself had not only placed in both events, but landed up with the same positions, as well! In my history of attending tournaments, I do not believe it's ever once happened!

Big thanks to @[ICEICE] and @[Hato] for all their hard work in helping run the events today! It's really appreciated! @[Naru Blader], keep making it out to more events my dude. It was great seeing you again today!

@[1234beyblade], we all really missed you today!

The next tournament will be on Sunday, August 7th at Dufferin Grove Park! The thread should be up soon! We'll be doing Deck Rotation Burst and Burst as our Formats.

Thank you all for making it out today! Smile

I'm really sad I wasn't able to come yesterday! I was super stressed from my 5 hour ConBravo meeting on Friday night. Congratulations to the winners, and I love the photos of you guys with Toronto God Drowzee.
It seems I forgot to ask you guys yesterday, but it seems all Passport Holders that played in PLASTIC'S NOT DEAD! 3 get a choice of one of these four Face Boosters! @[LMAO] @[Kei] @[Naru Blader] @[ICEICE] @[U wot m8] @[Hato] @[pyrus10000]

I'll be taking a Face Booster ADVANCE, personally. Smile
Quote:If any more incentive was needed, a BeyLotto ought to suffice!

This time around, all 10 winners picked will receive their choice of the Plastic-themed Face Boosters we rarely get to see!
Color mine

Nevermind. I guess sleep deprivation makes me unlearn basic reading skill.

Hm, but those are given for winners, the top three in a Plastic or HMS tournament, all year long. I do not think the announcement says anything about all Passport Holders in a tournament this weekend winning a Bakuten Face Booster? So you might be right.

Celeste for me then lol
So to clarify, it is only for the top three, and if you guys had no prize at all for the Plastics format tournament.
Yeah, no prizes unfortunately. Completely forgot the Faces were only for the top 3. Sorry about that, guys!

Writing the Winning Combinations for PLASTIC'S NOT DEAD! 3 took just about as long as inputting the matches.

Libruhhh
Hahaha. Thanks a lot @[Mitsu] for all of your work on these events! Don't forget to post the winning combinations in the Beyblade General thread as well.

Edit: One other thing. I think I actually did use/win with DHD in this tournament once in the final battle we had together. Does that sound right to you, Mitsu?
Kei Wrote:Don't forget to post the winning combinations in the Beyblade General thread as well.

Woah, I guess I forgot to post the Draft I saved. Will go ahead and do it now.

And yeah, Deathscyther Heavy Defense rings a bell. I'll go ahead and add it to the spreadsheet. Smile
All Faces and Beypoints have been processed for both events. I did not give any Shard of Amaterios since it was not mentioned in the spreadsheet, but let me know if there should have been one or if you find errors.
