New player byonicboy

Hey my name is byonicboy and I am fairly new to Beyblade competitively, I have played casually. On Sunday May 28th I played in my first tornament, and made it to the final 8 during the Anime North tornament. (If I'm not mistaken I beat wombat in round who is rank 18 I think so really exited I did so well. Unfortunatly 1234beyblade knocked me out in the final 8) I used my own beyblade made of earth Virgo face bolt / evil geminos energy ring / earth Virgo metal ring / flame bull spin track / rock Pegasus tip (sorry I don't know the proper names/terminology)
I plan to join more tournament near me and meet new people who can maybe help me learn more about beyblade. Not sure what else to say other than I'm planing to post my parts list to see if I got some nice combos which I dont know about, and that I'm wondering if the standing of the tournament will be uploaded anywhere I can take a look at? I'm glad to be here lets see what I can do.

I do live in Toronto and I would love to meet new people who could help me out with beyblade. would you be able to tell me when there is a tournament in Toronto or if there is a way to get notifications for when new events arise near me?

Remember D and D2 are banned, I'm also pretty sure some members would be able to lend you some beys and a launcher

Thanks ill check it out. Yes the member is have met yesterday (Saturday May 28 2017) were very nice and gave me a few beys to use when I made it to the final 8 (first tournament too) because it was deck format and I only had one bey. Unfortunately I didn't really know how they worked so ended up losing to 1234beyblade, but was still lots of funn
Hey Byonicboy! I'm Kei, I was the host of the events this weekend at AN and also the one who lended you parts in the tournament yesterday. Welcome to the WBO!

We should be able to send e-mail notifications in the future for tournaments, but for now just be sure to check the thread SUGOI-KONICHEWA mentioned, and also the Tournaments Forum. I typically tag everyone as well here on the forums whenever we have a new event posted. @[1234beyblade] will be hosting a Burst tournament some time within the next few weeks and should have the event page for that up with the details in the next day or two. And I will be e-mailing everyone this time who played at AN once we get that posted. If you need to borrow any Beyblades for that, we're happy to help!

We will also certainly do another Metal Fight tournament at some point in July as well.

You can see the results of the tournament yesterday here:

I also posted the winning combinations earlier as well here: https://worldbeyblade.org/Thread-Winning...pid1379584
