Right, it's that time of year again guys.
The London expo is the biggest anime and gaming event in the UK, and it will be coinciding with the WBO's beyweekend.

The tournament will take place inside the expo center, and will start and finish within the allocated time slot we will be given.
The slot we have been given will be 2pm - 4pm, myself, Rocky, Blitz and ♥ will be there a few minutes earlier to set up.
We seriously advise that you all make it to the table for 1:45 at the latest since we're going to need time to put you all in to your brackets for the tournament, and prizes will be announced at this time.

If anyone is buying anything from anyone, then make sure to be there earlier,
Sellers should be at the table at 1:35, we advise you all make it there for that time as well since you'll obviously all want any blades you're getting to use in the tournament.

• The tournament style will be Block Round Robin
• The main tournament will be MFB only, but free battles will allow plastic and HMS as usual.

There will be tournament prizes, and hopefully some fun extras as well.

Items we'd recommend for you to bring would be food and drink, in particular bottle water as it can get quite hot inside the main expo hall.

We'd also recommend that if you do intend to take part in the tournament, then bring your own beys.

This may sound like an obvious suggestion, but in the past people have come without, expecting to borrow other peoples.

This would not be a problem, but more than half the blades that have been lent out to people have either come back damaged from improper use, or not come back at all (as those who visited the previous expo will know).

Obviously this has made people a lot more reluctant to lend out their own beys.

The entry fee will be free, although we will be selling blader passports for £6 at the event, that will allow you to take place in future tournaments.

We hope you'll be interested in this tournament, and enjoy it as you have done with previous tournaments.

Thanks,
theflightyellz

i looked at the London expo site and to get in is more expensive then i thought but i will still come
Added this years graphic to the front page.
We've received a message about the location from the expo team, and there's a possibility that we may be moved to inside the expo hall, to another location, or we may have to have an excel team member monitoring the event.
We'll update you with information as it gets to us.
the graphic is sick as always dude
what do you mean to another location
i would rather it inside cuz it would probably be more easy to find then
We're uncertain yet, the main issue is health and safety.
I'll ask Rosie when she gets back from food shopping.
jj it will actually be easier to find outside
i would prefer it to be outside because
it would be hotter inside the expo if this weather continues
because loads of people isolated space
I may be able to come, i have'nt done the poll because if i am i'll be able to post it and if i do go i'll be selling some stuff.
Great if you can come, but right now we're only dealing with definite answers Sam.
HELL YEAH I should be coming just need to buy some beys! My birthday is next week I should be able to get some beys. Smile
Ok sorry Ellz.
We might be moved inside, I wouldn't have thought they would want that this time around, I wonder why they would say this. :\

Also, the picture is pretty cool apart from the tea cups but that is only because of a personal hated of mine which doesn't count for anything. I do like that you used those bey card things that I can't remember the name for. XD
They want it inside because if we have it outside on there property it's sorta breaking health and safety so they would need to put one of there staff outside to watch over us.
Got it pretty much dead on unfortunately.
I can see the logic behind it though, they're covering themselves.
Nobody wants to get sued.
Right, this is the current situation.
The tournament will be happening within the Excel center, the main reason for this being that people need to pay to enter. A large number of people have started up other activities outside the main expo, which to them is seen as a way of drawing people away from the main event, and an invitation for people to take part without paying the entry fee.
This is completely understandable.
The main problem, is that we'll be put in a community area that we'll have to book a time for.
Since this is a variable (since we have no fixed idea on how long the tournament will actually take), it makes things a little harder.
We will be in close contact with the MCM expo, and we will update you on any further updates.
I'd rather have it inside the excel centre. British weather can change unexpectedly.
sorry not this year for me guys but will u be there next year

so take 1 off of the ill have to see
I wouldn't have started posting this publicly till we were sure of what we're doing. You know how people like to question, even when they're asked not to, and then different people ask the same questions, etc....

In any case, Ellz has explained the situation well. I ask people not to worry and not to start asking for information and news cause if we haven't posted anything that means we haven't got it yet. I can assure you that the next update will be tuesday at the earliest. Also, to those worried about getting hot inside the hall, ExCel is ALWAYS on the colder side of the spectrum, even in the middle of summer. Only way you'll overheat is if you're wearing an over-the-top cosplay costume.
hey me & blade master may be able to make it as we were planing to go to the expo any way still not sure if we're coming though
You do realise that you can come and go to the tournament so you can go into excel and do whatever and then go to the tourney outside the centre. Anyways i really hope you can come we need as much people as possible Wink.
lol im so comin so yea
hahaha i love your graphics ellz
