Pretty new to this game. I played it when I was in the 6th grade (25 and working now) back when it was a fad and I was a tiny lad. Didn't really pay any attention to the game until Youtube recommended a BBG video to me, decided to watch it and I was really impressed that this game is still going on.
I feel a bit awkward about being older in this game, but I like what I like. I also managed to convince a couple of my friends to join me down this rabbit hole, though I don't really expect them to post on this site ever.
Xeno Xcalibur may have also played a role in getting me to play this game. I'm a sucker for the flashy and extravagant.
