[Hasbro]  Dragoon Storm Testing and Discussion

Hey everyone, KJ here. I recently got some tests and I wanted to put my Dragoon Storm Layer through those tests to see how it did. These tests are about a third of the tests I'm going to be putting it through. And of course, I understand that DGS (I like to use DGS to abbreviate Dragoon Storm/Dragoon S bc just using DG is too vague imo) is outclassed, it's too light and its slopes are pretty bad. But hey, testing allows us to reopen or finally close the book on certain parts. If a part does well on something, then it can potentially allow us to see what else it's good at. And as I mentioned before, these are only a third. What you see now are the DGS Br tests, I'll also be testing DGS on At and Ds against the same opponents. I may also be testing some other Layers on those three Drivers as well.

I think the problem is that dragoon it’s pretty light and the use of a really heavy disk it’s making it burst easily and having a bearing driver makes it an easy pray you should try DGS.Y.Ds mobile with good burst resistance and stamina

Not only that, but it's aggresive contact points and less weight make it prone to self burst.
But 15% win rate against X3... Not bad... Don't expect it to do much against S3,  DG Layer is no comparison to S3, S3 is way better.

Thanks for that suggestion @[ayggdrasilgy]! And no problem @[Suhasini]! Wombat suggested that I use Spread on DGS, so I redid all of the DGS Br tests, but with Spread instead.

Maybe. 7 can give it more Stamina, which is what it could definitely use with Br, At, and Ds, you know? But I might down the line. I just have a ton of tests that I need to do first.

Dragoon is too light its TT Counterpart is better than Hasbro one I would recommend to put orbit and 7

I don't know the weight for TT's DGS, but the weight for the Hasbro DGS I use for testing is 5.71 grams.

Here's the third and final group of DGS testing I have right now, these focus on DGS Ds. The next Layer I'm going to put through this kind of testing (I call it the Br-At-Ds tests) is Hasbro's Dranzer Spiral or as I like to call it, DZS. But unlike DGS, once I finish a group of tests in the Br-At-Ds, I'll test another Layer in one of those groups as well.

Could you do some testing on DGS 7c revolve? maybe it could function similar to ark bahamut 0 bearing in the tt meta, where it "unclicks" against right spin attackers?

Maybe, but tbh, I feel like Revolve is going to make it Burst a ton. You saw how it did on Bearing, it'll probably do even worse on Revolve bc of the weaker spring it has. And then, DGS is already light and it suffers from bad slopes, so yeah. But if you really want me to, I'll try it. I just have a lot of tests to do right now.

i would like it, yeah, but you can prioritize other tests.
